DAWKINS PLUMBS THE DEPTHS
I think Professor Richard Dawkins has assumed the mantle of scientific atheist in chief, following the sad death of Stephen Hawking this week. I am bemused that Professor Dawkins is suggesting that human flesh should be manufactured in the laboratory for human consumption. Yes, you read correctly that this is a black hole down which Dawkins recommends you humans plunge. Perhaps the Professor dislikes his Broccoli? He further wants to overcome mankind’s taboo against cannibalism – is anybody out there puzzled?
One of my favourite writers, Lita Cosner, writes: “Cannibalism today is limited to either very desperate circumstances, as faced by the (historical) Donner party, extreme criminal insanity, or pagan ritual cannibalism. There are very good reasons that sane people, in normal circumstances, don’t want to eat other people.” Amen to that.
May I suggest that the Professor applies his brain to boosting vegetable production instead? Atheism seems to give birth to some distorted ideas. Then if you think we all evolved by chance as a result of a random Big Bang, perhaps it is not so surprising.

Oh dear, here we go again! I fear Mr Dawkins evolution is in reverse. Maybe he opened his bible to Luke 4:4: and read “And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, that man shall not live by bread alone”, and thought “there’s an idea” but ignored the rest of what’s written, ” but by every word of God.” Does Mr Dawkins suggest that when he goes into McDonalds, he will be asked; “do you want chips with your manburger”!! Perleese, where does Mr Dawkins think we are headed; into the oven by the sound of it. I really would like to join you in your tree, Chugley.
A very good point Milton! Where are the other Primates when you need their input? Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
Why does Prof Dawkins conclude “we need to overcome our taboo against cannibalism?” We have taboos for a reason…to protect society from moral corruption! I sense this might be the next step towards debauchery, just as the Marxists/ left wingers have got taboos lifted against abortion, homosexuality and gay marriage. Well, the Good Book knows all about people like Dawkins, and says in Romans 1:28 “And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God or consider Him worth knowing [as their Creator], God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do things which are improper and repulsive…”
You seem to me to be spot on Paul – a great pity more Primates are not heard on this subject! Bless you for bothering. Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
