Dear Chugley. Interesting notice, however “On 18 March 2020 in response to the COVID-19 outbreak in Australia, the Governor-General declared that a human biosecurity emergency exists. The declaration gives the Minister for Health expansive powers to issue directions and set requirements in order to combat the outbreak. This is the first time these powers under the Biosecurity Act have been used.” That seems to be the law that we are now under. Or have I got it wrong??

Law 2: Be re-elected
Law 3: Suppress opposition.
Law 4: Be re-elected.
Law 5: Suppress population to be re-elected.
Law 6: Suppress elections to maintain power.
Whether it is enacted or not, that is how it works.
Dear Political Observer. I agree with Law 1 & 2. However, your Law 5 ” Suppress population to be re-elected.” I question. Seems to this monkey that when politician suppress the populatiuon, as one could sugest is happening now, the population are more likely to object, hence a loss of popularity. That seems to be counter-productive, not encouraging popularity.

Thank you for your observations. You are correct normally when populations are suppressed / oppressed the population normally objects and rebels. However the recent history the incumbent and oppressing governments are re-elected convincingly. Queensland 2020, WA 2021. The incumbent governments were able to whip up xenophobia against interstate citizens.

Look at the current messages emanating from Queensland politicians
There are state elections due in 2022. There will no doubt be a movement to delay these due to Health requirements. This has already occurred in NSW local government elections.
