COLGATE’S RING OF NO CONFIDENCE
Colgate Palmolive Australia has decided to withdraw advertising from Sky News. Rowan Dean attributed this to agitation from a minority Left-Wing pressure group calling itself Sleeping Giants. We include a link below to Rowan on The Outsiders (21/4/19) explaining in his opening six minute editorial what has been done:
It is a weird turn of events when a publicly listed company, that even I trust in my zoo bathroom, morphs into some kind of self-appointed guardian of public morals.
Just as Canberra is described as a “Bubble”, surely Colgate are in a fantasy “Soap Bubble”. They should surely concern themselves with making money for their shareholders by selling their wares – not jeapordising sales by alienating potential Sky News customers. Ironically, Rowan Dean, the anchor of ‘Outsiders’ created their Spray n’ Wipe ads. (See below).
I shall urge the zoo to drop Colgate Palmolive Australia products forthwith. Sky provides balanced coverage of politics and is a must-watch channel for an evolving chimpanzee.

Rowan Dean is making a wonderful contribution to Paul Murray’s SKY programme…so between the two of them they are providing “my” side of the news.
As for Colgate, my wife and I haven’t liked the flavour of their toothpaste for several years now, maybe because subconsciously we “knew” their political stance was unpalatable!
Rowan is very helpful to this monkey, he stands for Judaeo Christian principles as applied to Government, something Colgate and QANTAS seem oblivious to. Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
