‘BUT AS THE DAYS OF NOAH WERE, SO SHALL ALSO THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN BE’
The Lord Jesus stated that The Days of Noah were akin to The Days of The Coming of The Man (Matthew 24:37)
Questions:
- What were ‘The Days of Noah’ like?
- What was the particular evil that was being committed that was so abhorrent to The Creator?
- And what is the source of these supposed creatures common to so many of the world’s mythologies.
(Perhaps Pre-Diluvian Man was experimenting with the sacred Kinds of The Creator!)
Robin Mark has composed and written a song about ‘The Days of Elijah’. He notes the Days of Moses, Ezekiel and David, but omits Noah.
Chugley commissioned one of his fellow Zoo dwellers to rectify the omission:
These are The Days of The Judgement –
The Judgement of The Earth by The Flood;
And These are The Days of Noah,
The Preacher of The Righteousness of GOD;
And These Are The Days of Great Waters –
The Waters of The Heavens and The Deep
That Wrought The Destruction of The First Earth
Whose Evil Caused THE MIGHTY to Weep!

In the days of Noah, “the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” (Gen 6:5).
Those words “evil continually” say it all about today’s lies, deceit and immorality, don’t they!!?
I’m glad you remembered Jesus’ words about Noah when equating ancient wicked attitudes and behaviours towards God as being the same today. What an excellent and relevant additional verse to Robin Mark’s “Days of Elijah”, especially as Jesus Himself equated Noah’s day to today’s wickedness ! I played it on my guitar, and the words and rhythm fitted well.
Thanks Paul! Glad you liked it, we have a talented zoo! Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
