BONKERS BANKERS
Deary me, I wonder if my senses deceive me? I find it hard to comprehend how far down the slippery slope of avarice your banking community has slidden. Very ingenious charging money to dead people for advice they never gave. This has to be some sort of world record in creative accounting. I remember some of my older human acquaintances telling me how their bank manager would always wear a bowler hat and pin striped trousers and was treated almost as a family member. Now they seem to be more like upwardly mobile sharks, out for every drop of blood they can extract from their hapless customers. No doubt there is lots more revelation to come, I am just hoping the zoo won’t suffer cut backs as a result of these blips, and my banana supply will not be cut back.
Gibber! Gibber!

Seems that many big financial institutions have only profits as a goal. They should take heed of biblical truth: Proverbs 11: 28; “Those who trust in their riches will fall, but the righteous will thrive like a green leaf”
There surely will be more to come from these “exciting” and “downlifting” (opposite to uplifting) revelations; you can bank on that. They must have heard about the bloke who repaid a big debt to a friend, by putting a cheque in the friends coffin when he was buried. Must away, want to get my money from the bank before the Govt. lays charges against the blighters.
We wonder what will be left when the swamp is drained? Just a lot of smelly sludge? Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
Dear Chugley,
You have no doubt been watching the goings on at the Royal Commission into banking. Top level directors sent their senior foot soldiers to push back the advancing probes into the industry. I must say that one lady from a very large organisation, hands down is in the front runners position for the ‘Champion of Obfuscation’ and all this from an industry that is not the legal industry.
What we are observing that the very top level of wealth organisations are taking an early exit. No doubt with extremely favourable remuneration. We will no doubt see there pillars of Australian wealth organisation, move into the travel and holiday industries, no doubt in non-extradition destinations. Shades of the 90’s again?
We would recommend that the relevant government departments not waste money on more unsuccessful extraditions (the track record is appalling), but rather set up a banana plantation for the benefit of those coming to join us. Maybe it could become a republic within Australia. ‘Lower Banana’ maybe. with in inaugural President Chugley!
Accept Presidency of such society with pleasure – if the banana supply is secured! Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
I guess the exposing of much corruption in the financial sector was to be expected, as “the love of money” (1 Tim 6:10) has a massive hold on those who are greedy and materialistic…which would include lots of people. Such people would not be thoughtful/ interested in the rights or needs of others, I think.
Yes, I remember when they used to classify banks as a “service” now they think they are “industry” supplying “Banking Products”, maybe that is why their self image has gone down the gurgler with a gurgle? Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
