BANGING ON ABOUT THE BIG BANG – AGAIN
I have become enmeshed in thought about the generally accepted theory of the BIG BANG being the method by which the Universe developed. The reason is this excellent book I am reading by John Hartnett Ph.D and Alex Williams.

I am now reading Chapter 5, ‘Time Scales’. I find that now I cannot trust the Zoo clock much outside the Zoo – apparently it runs relative to Gravity! Isotope dating methods are also highly suspect, and susceptible to distortion, by such things as probable acceleration during the Creation process. To my mind this all affects the basis for rational thinking and belief in God. Perhaps secular scientists should pray, “I believe; help thou mine unbelief!” (Mark 9:24b)

Dear Chugley,
Rational thinking! This is what the ‘scientists’ say they are doing with the Big Bang Theory. When really it is only a belief system dearly held, to avoid God the Creator
Very much what I think CS, It does make it hard for an evolving Chimp to fathom out what to believe. Not many of your Primates seem to want to help this Primate! Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
This dimension called “time” is fascinating, I think, and it seems it (time) is meaningful and “happens” when one object is moving in space relative to another object. I read somewhere that the closer to the speed of light one could travel, time slows increasingly. I wonder if the “eternity” believers talk of will somehow be our existence at that “time” travelling at the speed of light…or greater, where “time” becomes meaningless. Just a thought awaiting an expert’s reply!!
I reckon the experts would only be guessing Paul! Your guess is probably better than theirs, because you don’t think you know everything! Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
