AUSTRALIA – LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT
Thanks to Cairns News for running with this story by Barnaby Joyce, and thank you Barnaby for expressing how most humans feel, and educating those who do not even know how Australia was settled. This monkey is eternally grateful to be in Australia. I liv with spectacular views of Sydney Harbour, and am looked after with all modern conveniences and medical expertise. People who criticise “Colonialism” are so ignorant they do not understand it and ignore the benefits it brought to uneducated and primitive people., I deplore the way so many who live here have been brainwashed by the left to reject their magnificent history, They appear totally ungrateful: some even want to kill others who do not share their radical and murderous religious views. (Think – Bondi). This is Love Australia day, old hatreds have no place in it – now or forever!

Barnaby on Australia Day: We’ve been a force for good and freedom
Jan 24, 2026 #Patriotism

Barnaby Joyce, aided by two youngsters, raised the flag at his New England property.

ONE Nation MP Barnaby Joyce was offended to hear the story of a young primary school boy who was recently told to remove the Australian flag from his computer top “because if offended the teacher”.
And when a school counsellor turned up, that person was offended as well!
Joyce didn’t provide any other details, but such stories don’t come as a surprise in this day and age with cultural Marxism attempting to become the social norm.
Joyce has put his local flag-raising effort out on social media to inspire a special effort this Australia Day to show the world who we really are. Barnaby put the following message out for Australians:
“It is a couple of days to Australia Day, but let’s prepare now. We have to make this day a cracker, knock it out of the park. We all have a duty to turn this show around.
What does it celebrate?
Well for me it is recognition that a whole heap of poor souls in chains were dragged from the other side of the world, they did not want to be here; guarded by troops who didn’t want to be here; met by the aboriginal people who probably didn’t want them here: but from that pretty unhappy situation that suggested massive failure we together created this incredible success, Australia. That is worth celebrating.
Now we have some who want our nation to be more like the one they came from and not at all like the one we built. We did not want to live in your country, you wanted to live in ours, fit in.
Additionally, so many have gone on for so long to drag Australia down, tell us about all the problems and spit on the virtues and so many other Australians are sick of that.
Well, it is in your hands before new censorship laws make it possibly even more difficult for us to say what we believe is our free right to speak, in fact our duty.
This is a great nation, egalitarian, land of opportunity, beautiful, has been a force for good in the world, incredible heritage, compassionate and put our people’s lives on the line for others. But, don’t take it for granted or piece by piece the guilt termites will bring it down.
If you have a problem with Australia Day, that is OK, that is your right, you are Australian.
However, if you don’t mind, can you just leave the rest of us to enjoy it.”

“Hear Hear”. Well put. Except some of the first “settlers”, all have wanted to come here of free will and those of us who were born here welcome them, providing they become ‘true, blue aussies”, with a love, respect and determination to uphold our ‘aussie’ christian heritage and traditions. And if some are not happy, they are free to leave.
Thank you Milton the Mandrill! Most encouraging…..Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
