AND WE CAN BLESS AGAIN!

I remember the incessant rain of the jungles of The Congo, my childhood home, but as a chimpanzee migrant to Australia, I have come to treasure and to be thankful for any rain that falls in this drought-prone continent.
All true Australians rejoice when the rain comes. There is no smell more fragrant than the dew on the grass in the late afternoon – no sound more welcome that the thunder – no music more lyrical that the drops of rain on the roof!
It is a great comfort to an evolving chimpanzee who observes the apathy and indifference of Australians that The Lord sends His rain on the good and bad alike: MATTHEW 5:45 “That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for He maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust”.

I shall employ my umbrella once again and hum a little song in the rain.
