The premiere of the Piers Morgan Show on SkyNews last night was insulting to the intelligence of anyone with a functioning brain cell – To think that Rupert Murdoch replaced Alan Jones with this clown and sensationalist is appalling. The Brits and Americans may find him entertaining – but his lack of discernment is a tragedy. Aussies don’t want items about Meghan and Harry, they crave true and honest news and analysis – not hype and computer generated graphics. I will never be watching this program again – and it has left a gaping hole in Sky’s political coverage as probably the most important federal election looms. This is cultural cringe writ large. I give it 3 months and it will be gone from our screens – but if I am wrong I will have overestimated the intelligence of the average Aussie? Cheers, Col [Ret.] Thaddeus Blimp

I watched Piers Morgan’s Sky debut last night with some anticipation of listening to this Conservative warrior….a man who would be speaking what I think.
I was soon disappointed. I listened to an arrogant and self-opinionated man….not caring how he spoke to people, and often talking over others. His good message was lost in his awful manner and attitude.
I won’t be watching his programme again.
