A LOT OF BULL
I remember that emotion-tugging character from 1938, Ferdinand the Bull, do you? Ferdinand would not fight in the bullring; he preferred to sit and smell the flowers in the ladies’ hats. I am inclined to think Australia has a “Ferdinand” type of Bull at the Helm, a “Turn”Bull, who prefers the scent of the Paris Accord, to the discord of Common Sense and flaming coal.
Alan Jones highlighted last evening, on his Sky TV programme, just how far Australia has sunk under Turnbull’s haphazard leadership. The country’s coal royalties are at an all time high, because we are exporting our God-given “black gold” to other nations, who burn it, and make cheap energy for themselves, while we argue about banning plastic bags and reducing carbon dioxide production! Now it seems they want to reduce our herds of cattle by some 45 million, to reduce methane production from that source. It was pointed out that the plants in Central Park in New York, thrive on the carbon dioxide vehicles emit in the Big Apple – which is probably less than the total of gases emitted by horses in a bygone era!
You foolish Australians, who has bewitched you? I recall the “Good Book” states in Galatians 3:1 “O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?”. Paul never minced words, or ducked the truth, as far as I can see. An excellent role model.
I believe that a return to the basic truth would work wonders for Australia! It is hardly surprising that the calls to “Bring back Tony Abbot” are becoming more strident by the day.
Gibber! Gibber!

I agree +++ about the idiocy of Australia’s energy ‘policy’; ‘saving the planet’ at the expense of our industries. The French president urged Turnbull to stick to the Paris accord. Yes, that will help France because they have lots of nuclear power; so we kill our industries with expensive ‘green’ power and France exports their manufactured goods to us.
It is methane from cattle that the Greenies are worried about, not carbon dioxide.
Remember, also, sad to say, it was Tony Abbott who signed the Paris accord.
Thanks Don, silly me, of course it is methane from Cattle that worries Greenies, I like that bumper sticker, (often spot them at the zoo!) “The only true wilderness is between a Greenies ears!”
Even Tony makes mistakes, bue he seems to have repented! Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
