A HIGHLY QUALIFIED PROFESSOR SPEAKS ON CARBON DIOXIDE
PROFESSOR IAN PLIMER:
“Okay, here’s the bombshell. The volcanic eruption in
Iceland (some years ago). Since its first spewing of volcanic ash, has, in
just FOUR DAYS, NEGATED EVERY SINGLE EFFORT you have made in the
past five years to control CO2 emissions on our planet – all of
you.
Of course, you know about this evil carbon dioxide that we are trying to suppress – it’s that vital chemical compound that every plant requires to live and grow and to synthesize into oxygen….
I know….it’s very disheartening to realize that all of the carbon
emission savings you have accomplished while suffering the
inconvenience and expense of driving Prius hybrids, buying fabric
grocery bags, sitting up till midnight to finish your kids’ “The
Green Revolution” science project, throwing out all of your
non-green cleaning supplies, using only two squares of toilet
paper, putting a brick in your toilet tank reservoir, selling your
SUV and speedboat, vacationing at home instead of abroad, nearly
getting hit every day on your bicycle, replacing all of your 50
cent light bulbs with $10.00 light bulbs…..well, all of those
things you have done have all gone down the tubes in just four
days!
The volcanic ash emitted into the Earth’s atmosphere in just four days
– yes, FOUR DAYS – by that volcano in Iceland has totally erased
every single effort you have made to reduce the evil beast,
carbon. And there are around 200 active volcanoes on the planet
spewing out this crud at any one time – EVERY DAY.
I don’t really want to rain on your parade too much, but I should mention that when the volcano Mt Pinatubo erupted in the Philippines in 1991, it spewed out more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere than the entire human race in its time on earth…
Think about it!

Our energy providers are so addicted to the government subsidies and the so called ‘excuses’ to increase charges, they will completely ignore this paper. No doubt there will be gigantic executive bonuses – funded by taxpayer subsidies.
The government energy policy (or lack thereof) is in tatters, the government is so weak they are scarred of being criticized by the Greens instead of putting in place good strong policies to flow back lower energy prices to the population of Australia.
Spot on Sydneysider! No wonder I just want to stay in my zoo quietly munching bananas! Thanks, Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
Makes sense. Politicians have to get a collective backbone and make informed decisions. Stop pandering to the vocal minorities pushing dopey agendas.
Thanks for joining the chat Deborah, you are welcome here! Gibber! Gibber! Chugley, The Thinking Chimpanzee
The politics behind “carbon” is highly suspect for its impure…even corrupt..motives. I think the progressive lefties in the UN have as their agenda to transfer vast amounts of the prosperous western nations’ wealth to (often corrupt, left-wing) poor nations. Strange that we never hear from the media about the natural, yet huge, amounts of CO2 that are being spewed constantly into the atmosphere (and oceans) by a myriad of volcanoes around the world…both on land and underwater. While I’m on topic, this climate change/ global warming business: The media also never mention the massive effect on the climate that the Sun has…especially solar flares at different times that have a profound effect on weather and climate.
Even to a semi evolved monkey the whole thing looks extremely fishy! I intend to study the situation most carefully, I don’t want the lights turned off in my quarters, thank you very much! Thanks again for your most thoughtful input Paul – Gibber Gibber! Chugley
Dear Chugley. The “climate change” industry must be the biggest, anti-productive industry ever known to man. Every aspect of their theory seems to be not provable, cost negative and totally futile. For such a supposedly intelligent man as our Prime Minister, why doesn’t he “get it’??? Or does he have shares in the industry! Maybe the “tree hugging community” should start a “ban the volcanoes” movement! But then, I guess they don’t believe what they do to our atmosphere.
Yes Milton, I wonder whether the PM has not got some other agenda he is keeping form us? I find it difficult to believe he is that stupid. His wealth insulates him from realities mere mortals must face daily. Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
