Why the Entire World is Against Israel

With the actions now being taken by a multitude of nations against Israel every day, this article could easily encompass a complete book, or a series of books; they would likely examine every attempt to destroy Israel from the time of King David to the present day.

If written by competent authors, I’m sure much knowledge could be gleaned from such writings, especially the history of the Middle East (Listen Up Donald Trump) that would focus on the eternal hatred between Esau and Jacob that has lasted and, rather than ebbing, has grown larger and more violent since Israel became a nation (again) on May 14, 1948. But since human creation began in what we call “The Middle East”, any study of the ancient conflicts between Esau and Jacob would of necessity have to begin there as well.

God’s creation was barely in its infancy when the basis for the wars and violent skirmishes we now see actually started. When Adam publicly chose to follow Satan/Lucifer rather than His Creator, Jehovah God, raging he (Adam) started the war we now see. His treasonous decision set the “world to be”, meaning all the people who were within his loins, (and as yet unborn) at odds against God. But you may ask, how could that be? Had Adam not sinned, rebelled against God, his perfect, sinless body would only have contained the perfect DNA given to him by God, and all the offspring from his loins would still have the pure unadulterated DNA of their Creator. But Adam’s treason changed the DNA within his seed, meaning that all who would be born of him now possessed the same inherited evil that caused the death of all mankind (Romans 3:23). That inherited corruption manifested in all the evil that thereafter caused the war between Man and God. The source of all the evil we have seen is Satan, who convinced man to begin the war against God, essentially, the war between good and evil.

Any person who thinks this war ever ended, or even subsided, would be mistaken. It has morphed into a more sinister, covert war that can sometimes be considered “justified”, depending on the identity of the antagonists involved in the fighting. Need proof? God told the serpent in Genesis 3:14-16–

“And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel”.

Question: Who are the “seed of the serpent”? Jesus plainly stated the answer in Matthew 13:38, John 8:44, and 1 John 3:8-10; the seed of the serpent are all those who by their own decisions, align themselves with Satan and his agenda.

New question: What is Satan’s agenda? Read Isaiah 14:12-14 to see what that agenda was, and still is:
“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Lucifer, from the moment he allowed pride to take over his thinking, causing him to believe he could defeat God and assume all God’s authority, established his agenda: to defeat God and assume control over all the creation of God.

However, Satan failed to account for the limitless knowledge, wisdom and power of God. His action caused God to expel approximately one third of all His angels, those who chose to fall for Satan’s lie. They were all cast out of heaven (Luke 10:18) and lost their place with God in heaven.

Yet God, Who has always known the end from the beginning, was well aware of Lucifer’s evil plan and had formulated His own plan well before that occurrence. God, speaking through the Prophet Isaiah, said this about Lucifer’s (Satan’s) future:

Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners? All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house. But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcass trodden under feet” (Isaiah 14:15-19)

God’s judgment and punishment of Satan is clearly shown here. His judgment has been determined and his fate sealed for all eternity. So, is this the end of Satan’s attempt to destroy God and take over his universe? No, Satan does not give up that easily. He knew, based on his “instant discharge” from heaven, that he lacked to power to defeat God in a “face to Face”, “my force against your force” confrontation. But being an intelligent being, and very cunning, He began to formulate his own plan. He knows the scriptures and uses them whenever possible to establish his plan, usually through deception.
He is well aware that God has placed His Great Name on the line by providing prophecies concerning His chosen people, Israel. His promises concerning His protection over His people, as well as the ownership of the land given to Abraham, and especially the City of Jerusalem are powerful expressions of His love, His compassion and His longsuffering for Israel. Regardless of how many times they failed Him, He has never cast Israel away and He never will; Satan knows this and therein lies His evil plan.

Enter “the seed of Satan” and their part in his plan to defeat God. Even though God is a Spirit, who absolutely cannot be defeated in the Spirit realm, Israel is a flesh and blood people with flesh and blood limitations. In my humble opinion, Satan thinks that, if he can stir “his seed” to rise up against Israel and destroy them, numerous promises made by God would fail and His sovereignty, His integrity and His power would be forfeit.

That explains Satan’s thinking about using his “people” to defeat Israel, but what would be the motivation for those evil people to oppose the God of Heaven? Concerning the “seed of Satan”, and according to Jesus, speaking to these evil ones:

“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it” (John 8:44).
It appears that, through Adam’s treason, mankind having inherited a corrupted DNA, Satan’s seed will tend to do as he does: lie, steal, murder and destroy, or as Jesus stated in John 10:10—
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly”.

My thought is that the only hope the lost souls who follow Satan have is to ensure that one, or more, of God’s promises regarding Israel are broken; that occurrence would give them the opportunity to live forever as they currently are, sinners serving Satan, without having to deal with that “pesky” God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, eliminating any need top trust in God. In short, Satan’s seed has decided that they LIKE their place beside (actually under) Satan living in foulness, corruption and death. They are naturally God-haters who would rejoice in His loss of sovereignty to Satan, thus the entire world now seems hell-bent on making sure Israel is destroyed.

Unfortunately for them, they all fail to understand the majesty, power, wisdom and authority of the God they so vehemently hate. He has NEVER broken a promise, and He will not start now, giving all the assurance that, whatever He has promised regarding Israel, it will be fulfilled down to the last detail.
Meanwhile, all those nations so desperately trying to eliminate Israel will soon find out their punishment for defying the God of Israel, and it will NOT be an enjoyable experience for them. I will repeat what God has already stated: Israel will NEVER be destroyed, but will assuredly inherit all the land promised to them.
The good news in all this history is that no man needs to live as a slave to Satan, but by accepting the grace and mercy of God through Jesus Christ and His sacrifice, every man can become merely a spectator as God deals with all the evil nations and their people who though they could override the plan of God for His chosen people, Israel. In their rejection of Israel, they also rejected Israel’s God..
