Why is Israel’s Survival SO Important?

The entire world spends a huge amount of time “fussing” about a Middle Eastern nation that is about the size of New Jersey in the United States. Now this is not a slam on New Jersey, but almost no one ever fusses about the things that occur there, except for New Jerseyites. The world does experience constant tantrums and arguments with each other based on Israel’s existence. This has led to many western nations joining with the enemy nations surrounding Israel in the call for the extermination of Israel and all Jews.

Most people have no idea what would happen if Israel were to be destroyed by her enemies, and likely many would be hard-pressed to explain why Israel’s destruction would cause a world-wide catastrophe. Many have been propagandized by the MSM to believe the media’s total lies about Israel and their just war against the Hamas terrorists who invaded their land and wrought such destruction in October 2023; these MSM hirelings, who are mostly tools of the deep state Intelligence Agencies that constantly promote regime change and war in order to justify their own existence, have been among the worst enemies of Israel and have caused much grief for not only Israel but for their own nations.
The Jewish people have been used as the world’s whipping post since the diaspora that sent them into nearly every land on Earth after the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem by the Romans in 70 CE. While in those foreign lands, they have been persecuted, threatened and killed, just for being Jews. They were out of their ancestral homeland for nearly twenty centuries experiencing vile treatment at the hands of gentiles, and in some cases, Christians, until they miraculously began returning to their eternal homeland in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, and became a recognized state on May 14, 1948. Their return marked the first time in history that a people with a millennia old history, heritage, religious beliefs and language, who were routed from their land, were able to return with their heritage, their religious beliefs and their language intact. That fact alone should be enough to cause the entire world to realize there is something very unique about the Jewish people.

Disguised as sympathy for the Palestinians, Gazans and assorted other anti-Israel entities, the world and many of its leaders actions against Israel are actually expressing their hatred for God/Jehovah. He selected Abraham, the father of the Jewish people to be the person who, in God’s wisdom and understanding, would produce the woman who would provide the flesh and blood body for the perfect Son of God, the Saviour of the World. But so many of today’s so-called leaders actually believe themselves to be much smarter than God, and much more capable of solving all the immense problems plaguing the people on this planet. While the greatest of these problems are truly of a spiritual nature, arising from the ages-old battle between good (God) and evil (Satan), these foolish people express their belief that they can solve the problems using politics as their guide. Politics, Satan’s playground, has always been Satan’s number one tool to attack anything good and turn it to evil. This should explain why the world’s political leaders are now turning against Israel and demanding that the tiny Jewish nation ignore the words of God and listen to, and obey, them.

Since the rebirth of Israel in 1948, the Jewish people have been attacked numerous times by the enemies surrounding them, some 300 million strong, and in every case they defeated those who had been trying to annihilate them. In addition to the open warfare the Israeli nation has endured, they have also been the victims of many attacks by those claiming to be their friends and allies. Some of those attacks have been covert and designed to bring down the Jewish nation without firing a shot, but in spite of all these attacks, they are still here against odds that are almost astronomical.

Since Israel was reborn, numerous nations or nation-States have disappeared from the planet for various reasons and almost no one noticed. Why? Is it because no one cared about them? No, of course not, but it IS because, unlike Israel, there are no recorded promises of an eternal covenant made by Almighty God to any other nation, a covenant that guarantees their continuance on this Earth and promises just retribution to those who disrespect and curse the offspring of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Genesis 12:1-3).
Every Christian should be aware of, and have thorough knowledge of, the covenants God established with Abraham and his descendants. Those covenants are the reason why, of all the nations that either disappeared, or seemed to disappear, like Israel, only Israel is still here. God’s Covenant promises to Israel are not guaranteed by any other nation, any financial institution or any other entity that has international authority; they are guaranteed by God, based on the power and authority of His own WORD.
Any person who doubts the authority of God to make such promises needs to reread the Bible and get a better understanding of Who God is. He made this Earth and it is well within His authority to decide who to bless and to make covenant with. God’s promises, made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, all of whom are now deceased, extends to all the offspring of those three persons. It is recorded that God said:

“On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, ‘To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates'” (Genesis 15:18). God has reaffirmed his covenant with Israel and declared it to be so in Genesis 17:7, 17:19, Leviticus 24:8, Numbers 25:13, 2 Samuel 23:5, 1 Chronicles 16:17 and Psalm 105:10, as well as many other scriptures. By these recorded words, it appears that God is very serious about the covenant He made with the Jewish people. In effect, He put His great name “on the line” by making promises backed by His own words.

Though the world, as well as many who claim to be Christian, are seemingly unaware of the power of these promises, trust me, Satan is very aware. For millennia, he has worked to catch God in a lie by having Him break one of these promises, a situation that would allow Satan a way to defeat God and take over all that God has.

As a result, God clearly stated: “…I will hasten My word to perform it” (Jeremiah 1:12). The word “hasten” used here is the Hebrew word “shaqad” (Strong’s 8245, pronounced shaw-kad’) and it means “to be alert, sleepless, or to be on the lookout. This promise is further assured by the Psalmist who wrote: “Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep” Psalm 121:4. God fully understands just how badly Satan wants to cause Him to forsake Israel and allow them to be destroyed, and because of His “shaqad”, His watchfulness, and for the sake of HIS GREAT NAME, He will not ever allow anyone to destroy Israel.
The nations that are now aligning against Israel for what they claim is a genocidal war against “the poor Gazans”, are ignorant of the world they would inherit if their desire for Israel’s destruction became reality. Loving the evil lives they have built, based on the deceptions of Satan, and his promises of great financial reward for being his followers, they eagerly join with other evil persons and entire nations, doing their part to aid Satan in his attempt to overthrow God.

However they may have been recompensed for their evil accomplishments in life, those anti-Israel folk need to understand just what life would be like if Israel ceased to exist. The first thing to understand is that Satan hates every human being. He only uses those foolish enough to accept his deception. When he has finished with them, he will gladly discard them like an old rag. If Israel were destroyed, meaning that God had failed to keep His promise to Israel, evil would soon become so rampant on the planet that no human being would be safe; every person would be doing evil continually (Genesis 6:5).
It may be difficult to even imagine what the world would be like if good (God) were not in charge and evil (Satan) had taken control of everything. Every person, having no controls that would inhibit their innermost desires for evil, would potentially become a monster. No one would be trustworthy and fear would totally engulf the entire world, causing so much torment that suicide would become a major cause of death. But, blinded as they are by the evil deception of Satan, those who are now demanding that Israel capitulate to their eternal enemies, something that every Jew SHOULD NOT, and God absolutely WILL NOT, allow. They are incapable of realizing just how dangerous their actions are to the whole human race.

But, I take heart in knowing that no matter how many evil or simply misguided souls endeavor to enforce their plans on Israel, the covenant-making God of Israel WILL prevail, and HIS plans for Israel are the ones that will take place. The question this begs is:

What will happen to all those individuals and nations that tried to put themselves above God and force a political solution to a spiritual problem?
