C.S. Lewis stated that humans suffer from “Generational Snobbery”. Each generation considers itself superior to previous generations because it has more advanced technical knowledge. Of course really all you have done is to learn more and more about less and less, allowing the wisdom of God to evaporate. May I suggest that you watch this short 3.5 minute video about Thomas Jefferson and pray that someone with his wisdom arises very soon? Otherwise I fear my zoo is doomed.
