CLIMATE CHANGE – GLOBAL WARMING – WE’LL ALL BE DROWNED BY RISING SEAS – SAVE THE PLANET!

No more fossil fuels,  Obliterate the coal industry,  Buy electric cars –  We must reach net zero emissions RIGHT NOW!

While there has been moderate global success with this “global emergency”, it has failed to raise a stampede.  BUT, along comes the perfect storm –

PANDEMIC  COVID19 –  YOUR OWN LIFE IS AT STAKE,  EVERYBODY PANIC!

Lock up our international borders –  Better still, lock up our STATE borders – Give Chief Medical Officers absolute power and do everything they say….  Rush out and buy that most important of all commodities – plenty of toilet paper,  Introduce masks for the population – Pour money into finding a vaccine and  forget about a cure:  we must all be vaccinated for the greater good. Businesses may be going broke; business owners may be at the point of despair; our tourism industry may be on its knees; but it’s what we must do according to the all-powerful Chief Medical Officers, and it’s all for the greater good,  People may be subjected to worry and heartache because the hospital in another State is off-limits to them, and people needing surgery deemed “non-essential” may be suffering pain, but “New South Wales hospitals are for people in New South Wales and Queensland hospitals are for Queenslanders”, cries a smiling Annastacia Paluzcsjuk!  Schools must be closed, even though children don’t get COVID19.  Above all, Churches – those bastions of germ-spreading – must be closed.  Even Queen Elizabeth had to sit entirely alone and wearing a mask at the funeral of her husband, Prince Philip, because we must have only a certain number of people at a funeral or a wedding.  

Actual treatments, such as Hydroxychloroquine, as opposed to vaccines, were ridiculed for no other reason than that Donald Trump promoted it. Here in Australia, Craig Kelly was required to step down from the Liberal Party for attempting to be a voice of reason and point out that this virus is treatable with Ivermectin.

Over a year on and the hysteria remains, although it seems to be getting harder for socialist States to persuade their general public that broken businesses, broken hearts, and isolated children with growing suicidal tendencies are worth it.  With the passing of time, Ivermectin is, in fact, proving successful as a treatment (although we have yet to see Scott Morrison apologize to Craig Kelly); a growing contingent of true medical professionals are convinced that masks and lock-downs are ineffectual; it’s now permitted that we accuse China of being responsible for the virus (which, of course, we knew all along!); over 99% of people who do contract the virus develop only mild symptoms and recover; and the majority of those who have died from the virus had co-morbidities.

However, possibly the most astonishing thing about it all, is that so many people still accept the rhetoric without question, because this thing just might impact their own lives.  They are dutifully queuing in cars to be tested, even though they have no symptoms at all.  There are long lines of people on foot waiting to be tested, even though they have no symptoms at all.  They’re queuing to be vaccinated, even though there seem to be no guarantees that one won’t still contract or pass on the virus.  We saw footage of a teacher in the U.S. screaming hysterically at a teenage boy because he wasn’t wearing a mask, even though he had been vaccinated, because he might pose a risk to her!

We are erring on the side of caution with this virus.  The people of our States with the harshest lock-down measures are resoundingly voting their governments back in, all in order to keep themselves “safe”.

But Christians should sound a clarion call!  The world is NOT “safe”, for there is far worse to come – not at the hands of a virus from China, or because of anthropogenic “global warming”, but at the hands of our Creator, weary of our wickedness!  IT IS TIME TO PANIC, FOR OUR ETERNAL FUTURE IS AT STAKE and there is absolutely NOTHING that humanity can do to prevent it!

From the moment that Israel became a nation in 1948, the countdown to the end of this age had begun!  The Lord Jesus the Messiah, Jeshua ha Mashiach, our Creator come in the flesh, told His disciples that there was one specific event that would signal the imminency of His return:

“Now learn this parable from the fig tree [in the Bible, the fig tree is symbolic of Israel]: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.  So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near – at the doors!” (Matthew 24:32-33)

But, leading up to this glorious event, is a time of unimaginable horror, revealed to us by God Himself throughout the whole of the Bible’s narrative and, particularly, in the book of Revelation, which draws together all the Messianic prophecies which remain to be fulfilled after the fulfillment of over 300 in the life of Yeshua, Jesus.

During the final seven years of this age,

most of the world will submit willingly, not just to power-drunk State Premiers and Chief Health Officers, but to the rule and whim of one man who will be the very personification of evil –  brutal, full of rage, arrogant and self-serving, promising peace and prosperity and achieving neither!  His time in office will be marked by war, famine, galloping inflation and attacks by wild animals, causing the death of one quarter of the world’s population!

The Globalists have tried to whip up a frenzy over “climate change”, and now there will be something to really be frenzied about!  Massive earthquakes will mark this period, shaking even the heavens.  Fire will destroy one third of all trees and all green grass; one third of all of the world’s water sources will be contaminated, destroying one third of all marine life and one third of all ships on the sea.  World-wide blackouts will plunge the world into lengthened nights and shortened days.

We are worrying about COVID19 now, but there will be plagues during this final period of unimaginable proportions. The suffering from one of these plagues will be so great that many will attempt suicide, but relief through death will elude them, while a different plague will kill another third of the world’s population. 

Forget vaccine passports that will allow us to travel.  This man will introduce a system which offers only two alternatives – take it and eat, or refuse it and starve!  And now comes the final onslaught:  ALL remaining water sources will be contaminated and ALL remaining sea creatures will die; men will be afflicted with sores.  

HOWEVER, into this dark and horrifying nightmare will come the only One who can rectify the situation – the returning Messiah, in a blaze of glory and bringing justice and peace.  But, mankind, rebellious and wicked to the end and under this failure of a leader in whom the world placed their confidence, ALL the nations of the world will gather in the astonishingly misguided notion that they can defeat God Himself!  It goes without saying that it all ends VERY badly for the human race!

“But, beloved, do not forget this one thing………The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:8-9)

“You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 3:17)

The human race has a choice:  accept the sacrifice made by Yeshua, Jesus – His life for ours – and share in a glorious eternity spent in His presence; or refuse His free gift and endure the horrors of the final seven years, culminating eventually in standing before God at the most tragic event in the history of mankind – the final judgment at what the Bible describes as “the Great White Throne” (Revelation chapter 20:11-15).  

John MacArthur gives a chilling account of this event:

“This is man’s last day in God’s court.  This day of  judgment, this tribunal, this court, this trial, will not be like the familiar trials held on earth, for those on trial this day will experience a very different kind of court.  There will be no debate about guilt or innocence; there will be a Prosecutor but no defender; there will be an Accuser but no advocate.  There will be an indictment but no case for the charged; there will be a swift presentation of the convicting evidence but no rebuttal; a testimony with no cross examination; there will be an utterly unsympathetic Judge and no jury; there will be a sentence but no appeal, a punishment with no parole, in a gaol with no escape.”

Marilyn Brown was born in Sydney, Australia.  A darkly unhappy child and passionately enamoured of horses but unable to own one, by the age of 10, she was suffering from ulcerative colitis, a stress-related illness, causing ulceration of the bowel.  She managed to scrape through the Leaving Certificate at the Methodist Ladies’ College, where evolutionary biology and geography were two of her subjects.  At the age of 21, an on-again/off-again relationship drove her to hand her life over to a God whose Word was not particularly relevant as science had proven that its opening chapters were not.  Classical singing lessons produced a passion to succeed in this field and, at the age of 30, she and Max, her life-long friend and husband of 6 years, set off for England to pursue the dream.  But the Lord had other plans.  Instead of continuing her training, the colitis, which had come as acute attacks at times of stress, now became chronic.  It was Max who directed their search for answers to the Lord, buying books on Christian healing for them to read.  It was through these books that the Lord led them both to be baptized with the Holy Spirit which, soon after, prompted Marilyn to question whether David Attenborough’s Life on Earth, showing on U.K. television at the time, were the whole story.  Could the Biblical version have any support at all?  As the Lord always does, once we display an interest in the truth, He will see to it that we find it.  It took very few pages of a thick tome, The Creation/ Evolution Controversy, by D.L. Wysong, for the truth to burst the bubble of the evolutionary lie.  From that moment, the passion of Marilyn’s heart has been to point people to the absolute, unshakeable truth of the Bible.  The worsening level of the colitis would send Max and Marilyn back home to Australia where they began attending Hills C.L.C. (now Hillsong), then only 12 months old.  Here they would be nurtured and encouraged to hold fast to the Word of God and would provide an Australia-wide network of prayer as the illness continued its grim progress over the next 10 years, culminating in a perforated bowel that would place Marilyn on life-support in hospital.  However, after 12 years, without any fanfare, the Lord moved and the colitis began to recede so that now, contrary to all medical expectations of this disease, there have now been 19 years that have been free of colitis.  When finally able to return to C.L.C., the Church that had once been Bible-based and Christ-centred seemed to be shifting away from these foundations, subtly at first and now, of course, in a landslide.  It was time to move on.  Marilyn continues to constantly strive to be equipped to impart Biblical truth to whomever should ask questions.  “…and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you…..” (1 Peter 3:15)
