The Outsiders, presented by Rowan Dean and Ross Cameron, is always helpful to this partially evolved chimpanzee for the insights which it provides into the human condition.

Last evening’s edition was even more exceptional than usual. Amongst the many pearls of wisdom flying from the microphones, Professor David Flint made some particularly pithy comments on the current political “porridge”.

One of the good Professor’s observations that resonated with this chimpanzee was that “this country is now governed by people bereft of common sense”. 

How true!

He also explained political procedures used overseas, such as the “Right of recall” as applied to dud politicians! Now there’s a thought.!

His book, “Give us Back our Country” should be required reading for all true Outsiders.
