VALE RAVI ZACHARIAS
US President Donald Trump’s White House secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, gives a brave Christian witness about the late Ravi Zacharias. Pastor Wayne Edwards from the United States comments:
Two thoughts: First, what an amazing testimony of the power of one person who would dare to stand for God’s word in the midst of apostasy. Second, now we know why the liberal press despises her so much – they can’t stand the thought of a Christian woman being in such a high position. Why she even believes in the flood and Noah’s ark! How dumb can she be? They continue to attack her daily, and yet she is still standing….in Christ alone! We press on! Wayne
Amen to that Wayne! This monkey also found these links which bring back powerful memories of Ravi, his life impacted many people for the Kingdom of God. Below is a link showing Ravi talking about his life and faith on the Eric Mataxas show in New York.

The title of Ravi’s book pictured above “Let My people think” epitomises Ravi’s approach to the Christian faith. His emphasis in apologetics was, that for a faith to be coherent and relevant in today’s world, it must be rational. Those who have done Ravi’s apologetics course know how much he stressed “let this MIND be in you which was also in Christ Jesus” (Phil 2:5).
It is because of Ravi’s emphasis that our faith must have coherence, rationality, meaning, purpose and destiny, that more Christians can now move within this morally sick world with greater confidence and understanding.
Ravi’s systematic teaching on the mind of Jesus…of God…has left lots of fellow believers with a greater confidence that what we believe about God is real, true and relevant to life.
Well said Paul! I remember keeper Barry ran his course at the zoo not long ago! Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
Great share Chugley. Truly Ravi was a humble, loving, giant of the faith and as has been mentioned, a great encouragement to rational thought about spiritual truths and the claims of Jesus Christ. Even though he could intellectually defeat anyone who chose to argue his rationale, he always held to the maxim, “Our aim is not to win the debate, it is to win the person.”
May his legacy continue and I too look forward to seeing him in the presence of our Lord and thanking him for his part in my journey of faith.
Thank you Greg. He certainly persuaded this monkey that you don’t have to leave your brains at the door! Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
