Co-Co, The Coconut-Throwing Chimpanzee Schoolmaster, did not think that the study on Daniel 11 should omit to pay homage to the greatest moment in History (which The Western Church is remembering at present,) The Crucifixion of JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE MESSIAH OF THE JEWS, THE KING OF THE JEWS.

He is educating the entire zoo this Easter season regarding the glorious recording of Handel’s ‘Messiah’ by Sir Malcolm Sargent. He thought that the readers of ‘The Chugley Blog’ would perhaps find the music uplifting and inspiring also:

Co-Co finds new delights in Handel’s great oratorio every time he listens to his recording. His favourite chorus is ‘Behold The Lamb of God’ (No 22 on this recording) which of course is how John The Baptist introduces JESUS to his two disciples in John 1:29b and John 1:36b.

Co-Co’s other favourite chorus is ‘Since By Man Came Death’ (No 46 on this recording). This Scripture is from the glorious words in The Letter To The Corinthians Chapter 15:21 & 22:

After The Death comes The Burial:

Then took they the body of JESUS and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of The Jews is to bury (John 19 40)

And Then, just as HE had foretold, HIS RESURRECTION (Matthew 16:21; 17:23; 20:19; 26:32 and 28:6).

  1. One of the great “I am…” declarations of Jesus about Himself in John’s Gospel – John 11:25-27 is also pertinent to what Co-Co is saying .
    Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” She said to him, “Yes, Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is coming into the world.”
