Pastor Wayne Edwards talks today about The Sovereign Will Of God. The service begins at approximately 23 minutes, click link above for access. The Watchman’s Report follows on below, it is a must read for readers seriously studying the evolving of the end times. I thought this message seen on a hat worn to the zoo this week most appropriate: “Jesus is my Saviour, Trump is my President”. the visitor must have been an American, but the message resonates down here as well.
Gibber! Gibber!

Dear Heritage Family and Friends,
In biblical terms, God’s sovereignty means that He is the ruler of all things and that He alone has ultimate power, absolute control, and the final authority over the world and its events. The Bible affirms God’s sovereignty and firmly acknowledges man’s free will.
In layman’s terms, God’s sovereignty means that He is in control of all aspects of our lives, from the beginning to the end. This understanding should bring us comfort, knowing that we are not alone in this journey. However, this does not diminish our responsibility to make wise choices and decisions, nor does it absolve us from the consequences of our actions.
Last Tuesday, the citizens of America exercised their civic responsibility to vote for the presidential candidate that best represented their worldview. However, God also revealed His sovereignty over our nation in the election of Donald Trump as the next President of the United States. In His sovereignty, God chose the candidate He knows will accomplish the specific assignment that needs to be done at this time in human history.
In this sermon, I will exhort God’s people to accept “The Sovereign Will of God.”

My Fellow Watchmen,
In our Bible study on Wednesday evening, we covered the Ten Plagues as outlined in Exodus 7-12. On the surface, the biblical account of the Ten Plagues is about God sending “natural disasters” to Egypt to force Pharaoh to let the Hebrew slaves go. However, the real meaning of the Ten Plagues was to prove that the God of the Hebrews was more powerful than all the Egyptian gods.
Did we not just see that in this Presidential election? The Democrats spent billions of dollars booking so-called “pop stars” to hold concerts to persuade “low-propensity voters” to turn out for Kamala Harris. The Harris campaign staged seven concerts on election eve, including performances by Jon Bon Jovi in Detroit, Christina Aguilera in Las Vegas, Katy Perry in Pittsburgh, and Lady Gaga in Philadelphia. While the “pop stars” reportedly waived their fees for Kamala, the campaign had to pay for the staging, sound, security, and other costs of putting on a big rock concert. Ultimately, all those swing states ended up in President-elect Donald Trump’s win column on Election Day, and the Harris campaign still owes 20 million dollars.
While the Trump campaign also spent millions of dollars on advertising and expenses related to the 46 rallies and other large-scale events he conducted in 15 states across the country, from 6:00 PM Monday night to after 3:00 AM Wednesday morning, thousands of people around the world were fasting and praying for God to raise up the candidate of His choice to be the President of the United States of America, and He did. Now, we must continue to pray that President Trump will choose the right people to fill the Cabinet positions and that God will guide him to those godly men and women who will assist him in the mission he believes God has saved his life to fulfill.
However, Christians must remember that in Donald Trump, we elected a “Jehu,” a flawed leader called to defeat an even greater evil, not a “Josiah,” a righteous leader who led a national revival. While Mr. Trump will serve as our President, he will not be our Pastor, Priest, or Prophet! If revival is to come, it will begin in America’s pulpits.
When Alexis de Tocqueville traveled through America in the early 1800s, he said the secret to our greatness was not found in our wealth of resources or in the form of our government. Tocqueville said, “Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits aflame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power. America is great because she is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, she will cease to be great.”
In other words, the Church needs to seize this moment. I sense God has given us one more chance to raise the standard of righteousness in our land. However, absent a great spiritual awakening, what happened last Tuesday will not matter. Let’s continue to fast and pray, but this time for Pastors to boldly proclaim the Word of God in the power of the Holy Spirit, and call God’s people to repentance, for therein lies our only hope, and our children’s future.
