THE PROCLAMATION OF THE KINGDOM

Here is another highly relevant sermon from Wayne Edwards. I published his most insightful notes on the news yesterday. The Sermon begins at 21 minutes.
Today I publish Mike Claydon’s weekly Israel Report from Australia, in the place of Pastor Wayne’s usual notes on the news. Mike’s introduction is a wonderful summary of where this shaky world is up to. It complements Pastor Wayne’s view from America, essential reading.
Gibber! Gibber!
Chugley
Pastor Wayne writes:
According to biblical researchers, Jesus walked 21,525 miles during His 33 years on earth, including 400 miles from Egypt to Nazareth, 18,000 miles from Nazareth to Jerusalem and back, and 3,125 miles during His three years of ministry.
However, the longest mile Jesus walked was through the City of Jerusalem with the top beam of the cross upon His shoulders, to Calvary, and to the cross, for US!
We will explain this further in our next sermon in this series – “Behold the King: The Proclamation of the Kingdom.”

Israel Report Biblical Prophecy …..Today’s News……. Israel Report Weekly “And I heard as it were a voice in the centre of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.” 05 February 2022 This week our wobbling world edged just that much closer to the rim of the chasm of war on at least three fronts, financial collapse, hyper-inflation, and political chaos. Will Putin invade Ukraine, Israel attack Iran, China Taiwan? He’s a bit of a tease is our Vlad – but with all parties firmly entrenched in their positions it now seems likely he will put Russian toes over the border. Putin is well prepared. Russia has $US630 billion ($885 billion) of foreign exchange reserves (20% in gold), a balanced budget, well-capitalised banks and has spent the last eight years cutting reliance on the West. The circumstances are as good as they will ever be During, or once they are over, the Beijing Olympics seem to be the only impediment to Xi’s little adventure across the Taiwan Strait. The leaders of Russia and China pushed back against U.S. pressure on Friday, declaring their opposition to any expansion of NATO and affirming that the island of Taiwan is a part of China, as they met hours before the Winter Olympics kicked off in Beijing. Did you notice Putin agreed that Taiwan is “a part of China”? President Xi must be very, very happy with that! Whether Putin pulls the trigger depends in part on what Xi whispers in his ear at these Olympics. It is a fair bet that China will offer him a get-out-of-jail card, even if the West resorts to the financial nuclear option of expelling Russia from the Swift system of global payments. The attack on Taiwan will continue to be planned now that Xi has this support of the exceedingly powerful Russian military. A simultaneous attack in the Ukraine, Taiwan and possibly Iran would truly test the mettle of a “A fearful and compromised Joe Biden”! Russia, and China, Iran and Turkey inch toward closer ties both military and political as they must being the main players in Ezekiel’s war depicted in chapters 38/9 of his prophecy. Meanwhile, Israel has been practicing a journey to Iran to destroy her nuclear facilities, and hyperinflation continued to increase in the markets of the western democracies. Boris Johnson’s political career seems to be sputtering toward its end and many countries lifted their insane Covid restrictions allowing cases of the so-called variants to soar. A 70 mile long trucking convoy descending on the Canadian capital Ottawa has sent the ”woke” Justin Trudeau into hiding and convoys have sprung up elsewhere including Australia. Everything continues to align rapidly with biblical prophecy for the last of days before Christ’s soon return. Earth’s populace seem disaffected with inept politicians and bureaucrats now to the point of a clamouring for strong global leadership …. andf that personage quite obviously now stands behind a rapidly thinning curtain awaiting his cue to step on stage. Time to make your salvation sure? Israel drills “Massive Air Strike” on Iranian nuclear sites. Including first US presence…… February 04, 2022 The Israeli Air Force practiced a “massive attack” on Iran’s nuclear facilities two weeks ago it has been revealed, attended for the first time by US observers. Tens of aircraft drilled long-range strikes and midair refuelling tactics while also countering simulated Iranian air defence missiles. It demonstrated that the ability to do this is achievable. Hamas is Busy in Istanbul, and Jerusalem is Worried…… 05 February 2022 President Erdogan insists that Hamas activity in Turkey is strictly political but Israel’s security establishment is warning otherwise. The Israeli security establishment is warning the country’s political echelon not to get over-excited about the possibility of improving relations with Turkey. While the possibility of a meeting in Istanbul between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Israeli President Isaac Herzog, [which Erdoğan mentioned only a few days ago], is sparking hope in Israel’s Foreign Ministry, security experts are trying to calm everyone down. The defense and security apparatus is keeping tabs on the latest romance with Turkey—which used to be Israel’s strategic, military and intelligence partner but which in the past decade has opened its arms to Hamas and other branches of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Middle East. Officials are also worried that a number of understandings and agreements between Israel and allies such as Egypt, Greece and Cyprus could be affected if Jerusalem moves toward Ankara. Information making its way to the defence and security establishment these past few months is worrying. While Erdoğan is laying the groundwork and preparing Turkish public opinion for a change in relations with Israel, and senior Israeli officials are in contact with the head of Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization Hakan Fidan, a Hamas command continues to operate in Turkey and execute terrorist attacks and attempted attacks in Israel, Judea, and Samaria. Israel is looking into a recent report that Turkey has deported several Hamas operatives, but in general, Hamas in Turkey continues to operate its Istanbul headquarters, recruiting Arab Israelis and Palestinian Arabs for intelligence work and to carry out terrorist attacks. The possibility that Turkey and Israel could resume cooperation on intelligence is also causing some misgivings. Israel used to be worried that Turkey handed Israeli information over to Iran. The fact that a few leaders of Turkey’s defence establishment today are identified as Muslim Brotherhood members, along with Turkey’s ties with Iran, does nothing to boost the low level of trust between Israel and Turkey. Those in the defence and security establishment should not only look more closely at the recent history between these two nations they also need to study the Old Testament prophets – especially Ezekiel? PA: Blinken tells Abbas US committed to Two-State Solution, reopening of Jerusalem consulate…… 05 February 2022 The U.S. Secretary of State discussed Israeli-Palestinian relations in rare phone calls with the Palestinian president and Israel’s Foreign Minister Yair Lapid this past week. U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken spoke on Monday with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and with Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid. According to the U.S. State Department, Blinken made the rare phone call to Abbas as part of efforts to “prioritize re-engagement with the [Arab] Palestinian people and Palestinian Authority” and discuss “the need to improve quality of life for the [Arab] Palestinian people in tangible ways.” Blinken reaffirmed Washington’s commitment to the two-state solution and emphasized the need for reform within the Palestinian Authority. “Israelis and Palestinians alike deserve to live with equal measures of security, freedom, prosperity and crucially, dignity,” Blinken told Abbas. The PA’s official news agency WAFA published a recap of the conversation which implies that the U.S. is still committed to reopening the Jerusalem consulate for the Palestinians. Abbas told Blinken that Israel must “stop the abuse of prisoners” and the “withholding of taxes.” The PA emphasized that Blinken expressed the administration’s opposition to Israeli settlement activity in the so-called West Bank. Laser Defensive System for Israel…. 05 February 2022 Is God protecting Israel by a modern ‘Pillar of Fire’? P.M. Bennett said the laser defence system would be battle tested in the Gaza region, where Hamas and other terror groups still periodically fire rockets into southern Israel. Eventually, he vowed that Israel would be surrounded by a ‘laser wall that protects us from rockets, missiles, UAVs’.” On Tuesday evening, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett announced that Israel will be fast-tracking the development of a laser defence system that will be used to defend against attacks from Gaza and Hezbollah. The lasers, using an autonomous detection and tracking system, will superheat drones and rockets which the developers claim will catch on fire within a few seconds. The system will supplement the Iron Dome that operates against short-range projectiles with the lasers concentrating on smaller projectiles. It is a fact that, when the military announces a new weapon, they have already had it for 5-10 years. The Defense Ministry said the laser uses a “highly advanced optical targeting system, with tracking capabilities and artificial intelligence” to locate a target “at highly precise levels of accuracy.” This system looks suspiciously like Tesla Scalar Electromagnetic weaponry. Now, can you see God’s promise to Israel to protect her against overwhelming enemies at the End of the Age? Russian Naval Buid-up in Syria…… 05 February 2022 On Friday, six Russian amphibious assault ships arrived at Moscow’s naval base in the Syrian port of Tartus. Although Russia says the warships will remain in the Mediterranean for naval exercises, their journey from the Baltic Sea has fuelled speculation that they could be travelling to the Black Sea for use in a potential Russian invasion of Ukraine. “Currently, the ships are in a roadstead in the Syrian port of Tartus, where they have begun replenishing their fuel and lubricants, fresh water and food supplies to the required level at the Russian Navy’s logistic support facility in the Mediterranean.
