Dear HBC Family and Friends,
Thank you for your prayers for us during the 2022 Prophetic Witness Movement International Conference in Bournemouth, England. According to the responses received, perhaps our greatest ministry was the “encouragement of the brethren” to remain steadfast in their faith in light of our Lord’s imminent return.
Sadly, the church in the UK is becoming increasingly apostate. According to those attendees we interviewed, most of the churches seem like social clubs and entertainment venues rather than places where God is worshipped in Spirit and in truth. The LBGT agenda is not only embraced, it is supported, and those who are not in agreement with it are not welcome. Those faithful saints who gave sacrificially to build the buildings, provide for the leadership, and raise the funds for the ministry and missions have been relegated to the rear of the church, or removed from the membership as those who no longer matter.
One dear lady said while she was thankful for her small “in person” church, she is very grateful for the online ministries that provide what is lacking in her spiritual food, and that included the HBC worship services. She wrote, “I pray for the US in general and preachers such as yourself. May your works continue to grow and flourish in spite of the opposition. It is so needed.”
On June 5, I will continue our new series of sermons: “Steadfastness in Light of our Lord’s Imminent Return,” and the title of this sermon is, “The Next Event on God’s Prophetic Calendar.” The 6-page study guide is attached, but we encourage you to view the sermon on our INTERACTIVE WEBSITE: www.theheritagechurch.org. My fellow watchmen,
As Bill Perkins said in the first article, “If we’re at the end of the Church Age, and I believe we are, the Bible says nothing about a world revival. Rather it says the world will wax worse and worse. And when you see all the prophetic signs coming together, you know the Rapture is getting close.” Amen!
In 2 Thessalonians 2:7-10, the Apostle Paul said it this way: “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he (the Holy Spirit) who now restrains it will do so until he is taken out of the way, and then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.”
Beloved, the good guys with white hats are not about to ride in and save us from our enemies. I urge you to prepare yourselves and those you love to endure the storms ahead of us, and in all things, to remain faithful to the One who will soon call us to “come forth!” Let us not fret over the loss of what was once our way of life, for regardless of how great it was, it was only temporary. Rather, let us be ready to “enter into the joy of the Lord,” and to enjoy His presence forever! After all, that is what our eternal salvation is all about!
