The Six-Fold Work of Redemption:

• To Finish The Transgression

‘That by means of Death,

For The Redemption of The Transgressions,

That were under The First Testament,

They, which are called, might receive The Promise of Eternal Inheritance’ (Hebrews 9:15).

• To Make An End Of Sins

‘When HE had by HIMSELF purged Our Sins’ (Hebrews 1:3b).

• To Make Reconciliation For Iniquity

‘That HE might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in Things Pertaining to GOD,

To Make Reconciliation for The Sins of The People’ (Hebrews 2:17b).

• To Bring in Everlasting Righteousness

‘But, unto THE SON HE saith, “‘THY THRONE, O GOD, is for ever and ever:

A Sceptre of Righteousness is The Sceptre of THY KINGDOM.’ [Psalm 45:6]” ‘ (Hebrews 1:8).

• To Seal up [Finish] The Vision and The Prophecy

‘GOD, WHO at sundry times and divers manners spake in Time Past unto The Fathers

by The Prophets [See Numbers 12: 6 & 8] hath,

In These Last days,

Spoken unto Us by HIS SON.’ (Hebrews 1: 1 & 2a).

• To Anoint THE MOST HOLY

I. ‘Neither by the blood of goats and calves,

But by HIS OWN BLOOD,

HE entered in Once into THE HOLY PLACE,

Having obtained ETERNAL REDEMPTION for Us.’ (Hebrews 9 : 12).

II. ‘ “Therefore, GOD hath anointed THEE with The Oil of Gladness above THE Fellows” [Psalm 45:7b]’ (Hebrews 1:9b)
