PASTOR WAYNE WRITES:
Dear Heritage Family,
Rosh Hashanah is also called Yom Teruah, which translates to “The Day for Blowing Trumpets,” or “The Feast of Trumpets.” In 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus, we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.”
This year, the Feast of Trumpets is from sunset, Sunday, September 25, to sunset. Tuesday, September 27. Could this be the year the Lord will descend from heaven and call His bride to “come forth?” Only God the Father knows. However, I pray that you will hear this sermon as the sound of a trumpet, rousing you to repentance, and urging you to prepare to be “snatched away!”
We will explain this further in our next sermon, “The Feast of Trumpets,” based on our study of Leviticus 23.
We encourage you to view the sermon on our INTERACTIVE WEBSITE: www.theheritagechurch.org. If you click on the sermon title on the second page, you will find the sermon study guide in another format, and you can follow it on the screen as you listen.
The live stream starts Sunday at 10:00 AM, and the worship service begins around 10:13 AM. “Sermon only” videos and audio are available on the same site.
PASTOR WAYNE’S NEWS CLIPS:
THANK YOU for forwarding these sermon study guides to those you think might be interested.
Fellow Watchmen,
One of the websites I visit each day is LeoHohmann.com. To quote his byline: “Investigative reporting on globalism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism and where politics, culture, and religion intersect.” The fact that he lives in Georgia is a plus, but what is important is that he is beholden to no one, and his views on the current condition of our world reflect that.
In his article this week, Hohmann said, “It’s the system that must be broken.” He declares, and I wholeheartedly agree, that the political leaders who are now in charge can “be changed out like used washrags,” but the [global]technocrats who are engineering the New World Order are the ones who are holding the liberal agenda together, and their desire for world domination is pure evil.
I remind you once again, as Paul said in Ephesians 6, our battle is not with the talking heads and empty suits – the political puppets on display. Our battle is with Satan and his evil empire, and beloved, as Jesus told the disciples who could not cast out the demon, “This kind comes by prayer and fasting!” Who will join me?
