The difference between “can’t” and “won’t”
is a matter of one’s will. The evidence for the existence of God is before the eyes of every person on earth. God has revealed Himself in a language understandable by everyone, regardless of their age or intellect. But as the Apostle Paul said in Romans 1:18-32, such knowledge is rejected by those who refuse to submit to His divine authority. It isn’t that they “can’t” see it – they “won’t” see it.
By every statistical measure, the Christian church in the West is in great danger. We are losing our children to the intellectual elites whose worldview denies (not disproves) the existence of God. While we must intentionally share the Gospel with our children, our message must begin with the existence of God as evidenced by His Creation, and that every person, born and unborn, is created in the image of God, and for His purpose.
The title of this sermon is, Developing a Biblical Worldview – “The Handprint of God.” We encourage you to use our INTERACTIVE WEBSITE: www.theheritagechurch.org.
Please note the “Pastor’s Blog” now features “pamphlets” that answer questions I’ve been asked. Feel free to print and pass them on to those you feel would benefit by reading them.

I agree that thoughtful witnessing can begin with the evidence for God as shown in His handiwork in Creation. In that way, we are referring people to think about their reality of daily sensory experience….of what “IS” all around them…in the form of design, beauty, variety, complexity….and so importantly…life and energy.
Accompanying this, we must pray that their spiritual eyes might be opened to the reality of God in the life they see all around.
And if they ask about the reality of death and decay amongst all that life, what a segway into the Fall of man (and all Creation) due to sin!
This is the dilemma I grapple with daily – am I really “evolving”? It is a fundamental question that even your educational system cannot agree upon. No wonder you are in such a mess. Gibber! Gibber! Chugley
