Dear Heritage Family and Friends,

While there are many things about the future that we cannot know, for God has not revealed them to us, we can understand many things about the future if we consistently and persistently study the Scriptures. In Matthew 16:3, Jesus chided the Jewish religious leaders, “You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.”

What God said in prophecy 1000 years ago is fast becoming history. While we may be disturbed by the things happening today, according to biblical prophecy, we are about to see even worse things in the future as the world’s nations strut their military might against each other, and the pleasure-crazed humanity flaunts their decadence and defiance in God’s face. Beloved, God has chosen us to witness the convergence of these final biblical prophecies that will bring this age to an end.

THE WATCHMEN’S REPORT

My Fellow Watchmen,

I was astounded that, amidst the innumerable issues, the U.S. Supreme Court would dedicate time to hear oral arguments about a parent’s rights to shield their young children, PK-5, from reading children’s books that discuss subjects relative to the LGBTQ+ agenda. The fact that this was even a matter of discussion revealed that the U.S. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION DOES NOT BELIEVE CHILDREN BELONG TO THE PARENTS.

In their plea, parents from diverse religious backgrounds sought the Supreme Court’s guidance on a crucial question: “Do public schools infringe on parents’ religious freedom when they compel elementary school children to partake in lessons on gender and sexuality that contradict their parents’ religious beliefs, without prior notice or the option to opt-out?”

The Maryland Board of Education said the goal in exposing the children to the three books was “inclusivity” – training the children to accept other children regardless of their differences of gender, race, class, sexuality, disability, etc. The books reviewed were, “Born Ready,” – the true story of a mother’s support for her transgender son named Penelope, “Uncle Bob’s Wedding” – the story of a same-sex marriage, and “Pride Puppy,” – which describes “sexual bondage” and “sex workers.” However, since all of the books support the LGBTQ+ agenda, it seems to me that their goal is not about teaching children “inclusivity” but about their “insensitivity to sin” and their “exclusivity” of those who dare to differ with their agenda.

What’s even more alarming is the response of Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson. In a display of shocking insensitivity, she appeared to side with the Montgomery County Board of Education, telling the parents, ‘You don’t have to send your kid to that school!‘ This dismissive attitude only serves to widen the gap between the court and the parents, further exacerbating the issue.

Parents, it’s crucial to recognize that the goal of the U.S. Department of Education is not traditional, classical education but cultural indoctrination. You not only have the right to scrutinize the material your children are being taught in the local school, which is funded by your hard-earned tax dollars, but you also have the God-given responsibility to shape their values and ensure they are not exposed to anything that deviates from the absolute truth of the Word of God. This is a responsibility for which parents will be held accountable when they stand before the Lord at the Judgement Seat of Christ.
