Dear Heritage Family and Friends,
Beloved, no one could have been any happier than me to see the silent majority finally wake up and express their disgust for the ridiculous “WOKE” agenda the federal government has been forcing upon us for the last sixteen years. The fact that government agencies are trying to remove the evidence of their compliance with this senseless and useless plan proves it wasn’t even necessary.
President-elect Trump said God spared His life to “save our country and to restore America to greatness.” Pastor Greg Laurie said God had placed President Trump in office “for such a time as this.” However, what President-elect Trump does with his mandate will reveal his true heart motive. If this movement takes on the humanistic and militaristic method outlined in the manuals of the New Apostolic Reformation or in the desires of the Christian Nationalists, it will not be of God; it will fail, and we will have forfeited what may be our last hope for such a genuine revival.
Beloved, this is a pivotal moment in our nation’s history, and the Church in America should be on its knees, crying out to God for a mighty spiritual awakening to sweep our land. The urgency of this moment cannot be overstated.
This sermon’s title is “The Church Triumphant,” with a warning about what the Apostle Paul calls “Strong Delusion.”

“I want to thank you personally for sharing these sermon study guides with those you think might be interested. Your partnership in this ministry is incalculable, for if you share it with a few people, and they do the same, God can use us all to get the whole Word to the whole world, the name of Jesus Christ will be glorified, and we will have done our part to advance His kingdom upon this earth! Thank you! PW

My Fellow Watchmen,
According to a new survey from Lifeway Research, 25% of today’s pastors remained silent about the serious moral issues that were at stake in the recent presidential election. Their reasoning was to declare the biblical position on the most crucial cultural issues would have been divisive. However, it’s vital for pastors to remember that every sermon, even if it gives offense to the hearers, has the potential to transform lives. George Whitefield once said, “It is a poor sermon that gives no offense; that neither makes the hearer displeased with himself nor the preacher.”
It’s disheartening that many pastors are comfortable addressing social justice issues that align with unbelievers – racism, sexism, poverty, gender inequality, climate change, racial injustice, refugee crisis, LGBTQ+ rights, gun violence, poverty, and income inequality. Yet, they fall silent when it comes to the intentional and deliberate murder of an innocent, helpless, defenseless human being asleep in its mother’s womb. Sadly, the Democrat nominee built her whole platform around this one issue: the freedom of unlimited abortions and had she won, she had planned to globalize her murderous agenda of unfettered infanticide. This was, and still is a crucial issue that cannot be ignored.
Rather than a place for religious entertainment, the “sanctuary” of the Church is where answers to life’s questions are found, and human lives are changed for eternity through their understanding of God’s Holy Word. Truth always divides, and while, as God’s servants, we are to speak the truth in love, we are not to sugarcoat or minimize the cost of sin or the eternal judgment of any unconfessed sin. We are to be forthright in calling sinners to repentance, for it is the very power of the gospel to save!
In his article in the Daily Citizen, Paul Batura said, “The Bible has a lot to say about abortion, and so should pastors. The Bible has a lot to say about human sexuality, and so should pastors. The Bible has a lot to say about how parents are granted authority over their children, and so should pastors. The Bible may not specifically address religious freedom, but Jesus models it by not demanding everyone worship Him.” Beloved, the Bible says a lot about what it means to be a Pastor as well, and Pastors should read it and heed it!
I suspect someone will consider this a political statement, but so be it: “Within the covers of the Bible are the answers for all the problems men face!” (Ronald Reagan) On that day, we stand before the Lord to give an account of our calling, some pastors will have to answer the Lord’s question, “Why were you so silent in the face of so much evil?”
I appreciate your partnership in passing these newsletters on to those you think might be interested. I also appreciate your comments! Pastor Wayne
