Dear Heritage Family,
When a person received Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, they also enlisted in the Lord’s army, and they were called to fight against God’s enemies. However, our battle is not with people or the human organizations they represent. Our conflict is with “the rulers of the darkness of this age, [and] against [the] spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. And we do not fight with weapons of the flesh, “but with the whole armor of God.”
No believer is safe who faces Satan in his strength alone, but no believer is more secure than he who goes into battle wearing the whole armor of God. This is the subject of our last sermon in this series on “The Believer’s Call to Spiritual Warfare.”

My Fellow Watchmen,
While most of us were complaining that the Republicans in the House of Representatives could not agree on who should serve as the Speaker of the House, a small group of representatives gathered in a room for a time of prayer, asking God to RAISE UP the man He wanted to be their leader. Lo and behold, not only was Louisiana Congressman Mike Johnson’s name put forward, but he was the first Republican Speaker to be unanimously elected by his conference since 2011.
Beloved, with Johnson’s Biblical Worldview, he will be David against the swamp named Goliath. Johnson said, “I am a Bible-believing Christian! If you want to know what that means, go pick up a Bible off your shelf and read it – that’s my worldview. That’s what I believe, and so I make no apologies for it.”
Has God opened the door for a revival in America? What scares the demon-crats more than anything, Johnson now stands third in line to the Presidency! Whoa! How did that happen? Could this swing the moral pendulum of our nation back to common sense and decency? Could this be the SOMETHING we’ve all been waiting to happen? We can only pray, and well we should. One thing is for sure: I think the mutilation of our children will cease, and we won’t have to worry about using the right “pronouns” anymore. Johnson said, “Your race, creed, and sex are what you are, while homosexuality and cross-dressing are things you do.” “This is a free country, but we don’t give special protections for every person’s bizarre choice.” Amen!

We pray that Speaker Mike Johnson will seek God’s mind and Will daily, and so be God’s light in that dark place….and that his light will be a strong influence for good in the US.
