As we face these troubled days, let us remember, God has not called us to take up arms and fight the enemy. God has called us to stand firm in our faith and in the power of His might, for the battle belongs to the Lord, and our victory is just in sight!

My Fellow Watchmen,
This morning, over 2,000 rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory. Simultaneously, a number of Hamas terrorists infiltrated into southern Israel, killing and capturing. In response, the IDF has launched Operation “Swords of Iron”.
According to our guide in Israel, numerous IDF units, including special forces, have been dispatched to the area surrounding the Gaza Strip and are already operating in a number of different locations in the area to protect the residents of southern Israel. Dozens of IDF fighter jets have already struck 17 military compounds and 4 operational command centers belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip.
In my opinion, this unprovoked attack is in response to the potential peace treaty between Israel and Saudi Arabia, which does not include the infamous, but yet unachieved “two-state solution,” the Palestinian people have demanded for many years. Last week, Mahmoud Abbas, leader of the Palestinian Authority said, “The Palestinian people will achieve victory and achieve the independence of Palestine with Jerusalem as its capital. “Israel’s independence is a sham! The U.S. is helping occupy ‘his’ Palestine.” Speaking at the United Nations, Jordan’s King Abdullah said, “The Abraham Accords started something. But it will never fulfill the aspirations we all want unless you solve the problem for the Palestinians.”
