I was born British to British parents and I live in the far south west of England. A beautiful area. 

At the age of 5 year old I got TB from drinking unpasteurised milk. As a result of 18 months in and out of hospital, I was filled with fears and trauma. I missed 18 months of schooling and vowed I would never be a teacher, they just didn’t seem to understand me.

For those of you perhaps unaware, the church in the UK has become secular with Cathedrals having entertainments, such as helter skelters, putting, occultic videos and even an Imam in Gloucester cathedral doing his call to worship standing in front of the altar. The government have added to the chaos by saying during this Covid fiasco that we can only meet if we don’t sing, don’t embrace, sit 2 metres apart and leave the minute the service is over!! Praise God some have taken to meeting outside in car parks and fields. (Funny that, Australia is 1.5 metres, must be different “science” downunder, Chugley).

But our Heavenly Father is moving; pocket of lights like fires, they are springing up in many places, it seems these fires may link up and become burning powers of God all round the nation. Come Lord Jesus.

Ship at Sea…..

Do you sometimes feel like Jeremiah?

Imagine you are on board a huge ship travelling across the oceans.  There are hundreds of people on board. Some are having a holiday of a lifetime, some of them. of course, are working so everyone could enjoy themselves There are theatres, games rooms, swimming pools, bars and drinks being served all day, children’s play areas, in fact everything you could imagine for people to have fun. Yes, there is a small chapel but few people visit there and it accommodates all faiths

The captain is aware that there is a serious leak in the hull and his men are doing their best to mend it but no sooner is it sorted than another leak appears nearby, and this seems to be a continuing pattern. A few rumours begin to be floated, but not to worry, the Captain will sort it. It gets worse. But people are not interested to think of the imminent danger they are in as they are having fun.

However, there are a few people who are not only aware of the danger and have glowing life jackets on, they are seeking to share the danger with others and offer them a life jacket. There is only one life jacket per person and each life jacket has their name on. You cannot just hand them out and you cannot get one for someone else, you have to get your own. 

Some people are beginning to be a little afraid and are beginning to listen to those with life jackets, explaining how they can get theirs. But most are still very reluctant to stop their fun. It will surely get better soon.

How like the battle Jeremiah faced all his life. Thought to have been in his teens when God called him to be His voice piece, he spoke out whatever God gave him over some 40 years and he despaired of the response from the people from whom he suffered much. There were times when he felt like giving up and saying “no more” because of the backlash and abuse. He said,  “But if I say, “I will not remember Him or speak any more in His name, then in my heart it is like a burning fire shut up in my bones. I am tired of holding it in, and I cannot do that.” (Jeremiah 20:9 NKJV)

In these very End Times that we are living in, with the probability of Jesus returning soon, ‘Come Lord Jesus’ – is the fire so burning in our bones that we cannot but share His word and His salvation to a lost and dying world?
