Pastor Edwards spoke well when he reminded believers that an attitude of fear (when not founded on imminent danger) is best responded to by casting our cares on Jesus…and keeping our (spiritual) eyes fixed on Jesus. Eyes fixed on the world will bring instability and uncertainty….but eyes fixed on Jesus will be a “sure foundation” for a positive outlook on life.
