ISRAEL REPORT
Israel Report – Wednesday 16 October 2024
Many thanks once more to Mike Claydon for another on target Israel Report. Israel, the Apple of God’s Eye, Zech 2:8, is also known, by prophecy students, as God’s timepiece. It seems to this monkey that the hands of the timepiece are about to trigger the alarm, so keep looking up! Luke 21:28. All who come against Jerusalem will be smashed to pieces:
Zech 12:3
And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
Gibber! Gibber!

The Geopolitics of a War with Iran – October 15 2024 – IDSF Daily Briefing…..
IDSF – Israel’s Defence and Security Forum
In today’s briefing, Danny Seaman, former IDF Spokesperson and former Director of the Government Press office, discussed the geopolitics of war with Iran.
He puts the current war in the Middle East into a broader context, and explains how the Iranian alliances with China and Russia factor into the wider dynamics of the war.
Please click HERE to view the recording of the briefing from today.
Our regular schedule of briefings will resume October 28th, after the Sukkot holiday.
In the interim, and over the course of the holiday, we will plan on sharing new materials in our emails.
US threatens Israel: Resolve humanitarian crisis in Gaza or face arms embargo……
The US told Israel that it would impose an arms embargo on the Jewish state if it does not resolve the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The White House reportedly expressed deep concern over the “deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Gaza in recent weeks” and called for urgent steps within the next month to reverse this trend.
Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer and Defence Minister Yoav Gallant received a letter from the Biden Administration outlining American positions on Gaza.
The Biden administration is forcing Israel to sustain Hamas and its regime by making arms shipments contingent on constant resupply of Hamas forces.
It is Israel, not Iran that the administration is “keeping in a box.”
Lloyd Austin tells Yoav Gallant, that Israel needs to “Pivot” to a “Diplomatic Pathway” in Lebanon……
U.S. Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin told his Israeli counterpart, Minister of Defence Yoav Gallant, that Israel needed to “pivot” to a “diplomatic pathway” in Lebanon, despite stunning Israeli advances against Hezbollah.
In every instance in the past several decades where Israel is attacked by Arab forces, the American president and his lackeys intervene immediately to urge both sides to agree to a ceasefire.
When Arab Palestinian attackers do agree to a ceasefire, they aggressively use the respite to their advantage to rearm and prepare for another attack, thus strengthening their own force.
If a “ceasefire” agreement is ever reached, the Muslim defines such as a “Hudna“!
A “Hudna” is defined as … viewed in Arab Islamic folklore and defined in Islamic law, as a respite between battles in a longer war against non-Arab Islamic infidels who are not a party to any such Hudna.
An Israeli joke now making the rounds in Jerusalem goes like this: An Israeli asks an Arab what a “Hudna” is and is told, “Put your gun aside and wait for a few moments while I reload and re-aim “. This is the essence of a “Hudna” — a totally lopsided agreement.
Iran ends indirect talks with the US amid Middle East escalation…….
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi [above] says Iran sees “no grounds” for continuing its indirect talks with the United States through intermediary Oman.
In June, Tehran had confirmed that it engaged in indirect discussions with Washington through Muscat, despite the lack of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
At the time, US news website Axios reported that Iranian and American officials held indirect talks in Oman “on how to avoid escalating regional attacks.”
Israel’s demining near Golan Heights signals wider front against Hezbollah……
In a sign Israel may expand its ground operations against Hezbollah while bolstering its own defences, its troops have cleared landmines and established new barriers on the frontier between the Israeli Golan Heights and a demilitarized strip bordering Syria, security sources and analysts said.
The move suggests Israel may seek to strike Hezbollah for the first time from further east along Lebanon’s border, at the same time creating a secure area from which it can freely reconnoiter the armed group and prevent infiltration, the sources said.
While demining activity has been reported, sources who spoke to Reuters – including a Syrian soldier stationed in south Syria, a Lebanese security official and a U.N. peacekeeping official – revealed additional unreported details that showed Israel was moving the fence separating the DMZ towards the Syrian side and digging more fortifications in the area.
Navvar Saban, a conflict analyst at the Istanbul-based Harmoon Centre, said the operations in the Golan, a hilly, 1,200 square km (460 square mile) plateau that also overlooks Lebanon and borders Jordan, appeared to be an attempt to “prepare the groundwork” for a broader offensive in Lebanon.
“Everything happening in Syria is to serve Israel’s strategy in Lebanon – hitting supply routes, hitting warehouses, hitting people linked to the supply lines to Hezbollah,” he said.
Iranian Oil Refinery Blaze…
At least one person was killed in a fire at the Pars Petro Shushtar refinery in Iran’s Khuzestan province, state media reported on Tuesday.
The media, citing the governor of Shushtar town, said “the fire is under control, but firefighters and rescue workers remain on alert at the scene.“
One of the fuel tanks caught fire after a tanker apparently collided with the gasoline tanks of the refinery.
The Iranians are claiming it’s an accident.
Russia bombs rebel-held areas of Syria in ‘Warning’ to opposition after Hezbollah setback……..
Russian planes have bombed rebel-held areas of northwestern Syria amid speculation that the opposition could use the Lebanon situation to attack regime forces
Russian warplanes bombed towns and villages in rebel-held northwestern Syria for a second day running on Tuesday, injuring people and damaging an electrical power plant, in what appears to be an escalation after a period of relative calm.
The New Arab’s affiliate site Syria TV said that six Russian Sukhoi-24 and Sukhoi-34 planes carried out the strikes, while drones flew overhead.
The planes carried out a total of 11 strikes, targeting rebel-held areas of Latakia, Idlib, and Hama provinces.
The Syrian Civil Defence, known as the White Helmets, said that civilians were injured and fires broke out when Russian planes hit the Kelani power plant in Ain al-Zarka in Latakia province.
The power plant has been put out of action as a result of the strike, according to the local Green Energy power company, which said that electricity had been cut to areas which depend on it.
On Monday, Russian warplanes carried out 25 airstrikes on northwestern Syria, targeting suburbs of Idlib city as well as parts of southern and western Idlib province.
Syrian pro-regime media said that the strikes were a “warning” to Syrian opposition forces, amid reports that the opposition was preparing to attack regime forces in northern Syria.
Thousands Of North Korean Troops To Help Russia Fight Ukraine…….
North Korean troops would help Russia make up for mounting losses, but just how effective they could be remains to be seen.
Thousands of North Korean troops are being trained to provide combat power in Ukraine to help Russia make up for mounting losses, according to reports. The move is part of a growing alliance between Moscow and Pyongyang that benefits both parties in several ways.
“The North Koreans will form part of the ‘Special Buryat Battalion,’ organized within the 11th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces,” the Ukrainian Liga media outlet reported on Tuesday.
“The battalion is expected to include up to 3,000 North Korean troops and is currently being supplied with small arms and ammunition.”
Liga suggested that the battalion could be deployed near the Ukrainian-occupied town of Sudzha in Russia’s Kursk region, but the exact location or arrival time remains unknown.
The Ukrainian Suspline news outlet suggested that there are already a number of North Korean troops there.
