Biblical Prophecy…Today’s News…
APR 27, 2024
When it comes to geopolitical commentary there is a high risk of becoming repetitive because although the basic subject remains the same, it is the growing intensity, expansion and frequency of events that need to be always revealed as they occur.
This is especially true of the subject of Biblical prophecy.
At first, a glimmer of a possible coming fulfillment arises, and as time rushes by the more it appears to be coming into view and then finally it becomes an established fact that something spoken of by Israel’s prophets centuries ago is being put in place in the prophetic jigsaw in our lifetime.
The subject remains the same, yet as the intricate details are unfolding in complexity it can be said assuredly that developments are occurring that bring a certainty to what had been written long ago describing an epoch to be experienced by humanity at the end of the age.
We are the generations now living in the time that the Jewish seers longed to see.
The setting of the stage for the Time of Jacob’s Trouble.
For this period to occur many components had to be put in place and gradually developed and expanded to a point where they were established enough to be a vital part of the differing aspects required.
Many people remain alive today who saw and recognized the beginnings of this process and have since been watching in amazement as everything started to fall into place confirming an unstoppable fulfillment just ahead.
There had to be a stirring within the Jewish Diaspora for a homeland for globally persecuted Jewry, culminating in a near extinction event exposed in all its horror in 1945.
A nation to be restored to their land barren for almost two millennia, a government established, the return of the language, currency and traditions.
Wars, and rumours of wars were to arise, and enemies arrayed on the borders, an immensely strong military built, and growing prosperity amidst much adversity.
A clamour for global unity and equality, a convening of the nations to usher in three letter agencies to prevent wars, pandemics, poverty and injustice.
The world had to advance from Morse Code to instant international communication available to all peoples.
The ability to digitally identify each and every planetary citizen whose entire lives could be controlled electronically, bringing disobedience to government a life threatening exercise.
An amalgam of religions to be established extinguishing doctrinal distinctions, leaving aside truth for unity, love and peace.
National alliances were to twist and turn finally settling in coalitions only foretold in Jewish scripture.
In one short and uncertain lifetime we have now arrived in 2024 with all that is needed to begin humanity’s Great Tribulation.
The God of Israel is about to bring His elect through the fires of purification – only one certainty now stands in the way; the removal of the Church of Jesus Christ, and the revealing of that final global despot and his electronic tyranny so clearly spoken of in John’s Revelation chapter 13.
” For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord”. [1 Thessalonians 4:16-17]
“Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith the Lord: for I am with thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leave thee wholly unpunished”. [Jeremiah 46;28]
“And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins”. [Romans 11;26]
Hezbollah fires 30 rockets at North after IDF drone strike kills allied terrorists…
Hezbollah launched a barrage of rockets at northern Israel on Friday night, hours after two members of an allied terror group were killed in an Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon.
According to the Israel Defence Forces, some 30 rockets were launched in the attack, targeting the Mount Hermon area.
The Iron Dome air defence system intercepted some of the rockets, while others apparently hit open areas. There were no reports of injuries or damage.
Sirens did not sound in any towns, but alerts were activated in open areas and army bases on the mountain.
Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the barrage, saying it targeted Israeli army bases in the area with dozens of Katyusha rockets.
Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary General Naim Qassem [pictured above] warns that full-scale war will not bring residents of northern Israel home, but rather, end their presence there “once and for all.”
17 Nations Release Joint Statement Demanding Hamas Release all Hostages……..
Hamas has rejected an urgent formal plea from world leaders to release all remaining Israeli hostages, with the designated terror group telling the West “you can’t force us to do anything.”
Earlier on Thursday the US was among a group of 17 countries which have citizens horrendously abducted that released a joint statement calling on Hamas to free them.
This was the first such international joint statement of the conflict, which has run for more than half a year. Prior attempts at similar statements never got past the draft phase as countries had vastly differing perspectives of the Gaza crisis.
“We call for the immediate release of all hostages held by Hamas and Gaza now for over 200 days. They include our citizens,” the statement said. “The fate of the hostages and the civilian population in Gaza who are protected under international law is of international concern.”
The leaders from the following countries were behind the statement: United States, Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Thailand and the United Kingdom.
They are pushing for the acceptance of the deal that’s reportedly on the table: “Gazans would be able to return to their homes and their lands with preparations beforehand to ensure shelter and humanitarian provisions,” it said.
“We will emphasize that the pending deal for the release of the hostages will lead to an immediate and prolonged ceasefire in Gaza, which will facilitate the introduction of necessary humanitarian aid to be provided throughout Gaza and lead to a reliable end to hostilities,” the joint statement continued.
Hamas Reviews Israeli Proposal For Gaza Ceasefire, Egypt Pushes for End of War………..
Hamas said on Saturday it was reviewing a new Israeli proposal for a cease-fire in Gaza, as Egypt intensified efforts to broker a deal to end the months-long war and stave off a possible, and seemingly imminent Israeli ground offensive into the southern Gazan city of Rafah.
Senior Hamas official Khalil al-Hayya [pictured above] said the Palestinian militant group was evaluating Israel’s proposal, and “upon completion of its study, it will submit its response.”
He gave no details of Israel’s offer but said it was in response to a proposal from Hamas two weeks ago.
Negotiations earlier this month centred on a six-week cease-fire proposal and the release of 40 civilian and sick hostages in exchange for freeing hundreds of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
Hamas’ statement came hours after a high-level Egyptian delegation wrapped up a visit to Israel where it discussed a “new vision” for a prolonged cease-fire in Gaza, according to an Egyptian official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to freely discuss the developments.
It was not immediately clear whether Israel’s latest response to Hamas on a cease-fire was directly related to Friday’s visit to Tel Aviv by Egyptian mediators.
Hamas said Friday it is open to any “ideas or suggestions” that take into consideration the needs of the Arab Palestinian people such as an end to Israel’s attacks on Gaza, the return of displaced people to their homes and an Israeli withdrawal.
Hamas said it will not back down from its demands for a permanent cease-fire and full withdrawal of Israeli troops, both of which Israel has rejected.
Israel has warned it would not agree to foot-dragging by Hamas, particularly its leader in Gaza Yahya Sinwar, [pictured above] on the hostage deal in a bid to forestall the Israel Defence Forces operation and noted that reserve forces have been called up.
“This is the last chance before we go into Rafah,” the official said, according to Channel 12 news.
It’s a case of “either a deal in the near future, or Rafah,” the source said. Sinwar, the architect of the October 7 massacre, is widely believed to be hiding in the Hamas tunnel network in the Rafah area, with hostages in close proximity as human shields.
It seems to portray a certain insanity to keep making demands of Israel as she amasses a large number of tanks and troops at the entrance to Rafah poised to eliminate the last battalions of a defeated Hamas?
Israel says it will continue military operations until Hamas is defeated and that it will retain a security presence in Gaza afterward.
Iran‘s Lessons Learned from Direct Confrontation with Israel….
Iran’s recent experiences may bolster the influence of factions within the regime advocating for a shift in Iran’s nuclear strategy.
The recent unprecedented direct exchange of fire between Iran and Israel has revealed the relative military weaknesses of Iran.
While most of Iran’s drones and ballistic and cruise missiles were intercepted by Israel’s multilayered air defence system as well as the U.S. and Jordanian militaries, Israeli missiles managed to penetrate Iranian airspace, successfully targeting a radar installation in Isfahan province in central Iran.
Furthermore, from Iran’s perspective, the Israeli response could have been far harsher had it not been for the United States’ restraint on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and it is not known to Tehran if Washington will restrain Israel after the November presidential election.
Receiving Iran’s top military commanders April 21, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said: “How many missiles were launched and whether they reached their targets or not … is a secondary issue. The main issue is the manifestation of the resolve of the Iranian nation and that of the armed forces in the international arena.”
Disregarding the bluster, Khamenei’s statements were seemingly an admission of the inefficacy of Iran’s missiles against the formidable Israeli and allied air defence systems.
Iran’s air defences, conversely, seem incapable of detecting and intercepting Israeli missiles, as evidenced by the April 19 Israeli strike against the Isfahan radar installation used to protect Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility.
In an interview with NBC News, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian [pictured above] refused to attribute the attack to Israel and dismissed the weapons used as “children’s toys.” However, such statements are more likely a face-saving maneuver rather than an indication of lessons learned by Iranian strategists.
While no child’s play, Israel’s response in this round of the conflict was limited, largely due to the diplomatic efforts of sleepy Joseph R. Biden Jr.
Absent U.S. pressure against Israel and the White House’s unequivocal refusal to participate in an Israeli attack against Iran, Israel may well have dealt a more humiliating blow to Iran, potentially pressuring Iran to retaliate and igniting a regional war.
Iranian leaders typically do not openly share their strategic insights from ongoing conflicts. However, they will likely seek to adapt their tactics and potentially even their overall strategy to address Iran’s military weaknesses in a direct confrontation with Israel.
It is becoming increasingly apparent that Iran is going to have to rely on Russian support to fulfill their fanciful dream of eradicating Israel.
China to host Hamas, Fatah for Arab Palestinian Unity talks……
China will host Arab Palestinian unity talks between Islamist militant groups the already defeated Hamas and its incompetent rival Fatah, a Beijing-based diplomat Wang Wenbin [pictured above] said on Friday, a notable Chinese foray into Arab Palestinian diplomacy amid the war in the Gaza Strip.
Fatah is the movement of decrepit Mahmoud Abbas, president of the Western-backed Palestinian Authority, which exercises limited self-rule in the Israeli occupied West Bank.
The two rival Arab Palestinian factions have failed to heal their political disputes since Hamas fighters expelled Fatah from Gaza in a short war in 2007.
A Fatah official told Reuters a delegation, led by the group’s senior official Azzam Al-Ahmed, [pictured below] had left for China.
A Hamas official said the faction’s team for the talks, led by senior Hamas official Moussa Abu Marzouk, would be flying there later on Friday.
“We support strengthening the authority of the Palestinian National Authority, and support all Palestinian factions in achieving reconciliation and increasing solidarity through dialogue and consultation,” said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin at a regular briefing on Friday, without confirming the meeting.
The visit will be the first time a Hamas delegation is publicly known to have gone to China since the start of the war in Gaza.
A Chinese diplomat, Wang Kejian, met Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in Qatar last month, according to the Chinese foreign ministry.
The Beijing-based diplomat, who had been briefed on the matter, said the talks aimed to support efforts to reconcile the two Arab Palestinian rival groups.
Good luck with that?

Russian defence chief meets Iranian counterpart on widening military cooperation;
MOSCOW – Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu has told his Iranian counterpart Gharaei Ashtiani that Moscow is ready to expand military and technical cooperation with Tehran, the RIA state news agency reports.
Contacts between the countries’ military departments have increased significantly recently, Shoigu is cited as saying.
The meeting comes on the sidelines of a session in Kazakhstan Friday of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), a security grouping that includes Russia, India, China, Iran, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
Reza Ashtiani has stated that Iran and Russia should promote defence and military cooperation to improve regional security and stability.
He said Tehran and Moscow should oppose unilateralism in global issues.
He thanked Russia for condemning Israel’s airstrikes against Iran’s diplomatic premises in the Syrian capital of Damascus on April 1 and expressing support for Tehran’s legitimate response.
“Terrorist attacks in Russia and Iran are the outcome of support of Western countries, especially the United States, for terrorist groups,” Ashtiani emphasized.
Elsewhere in the conversation, the Iranian defence chief warned that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and some Western countries are taking steps in line with the policy of expansion to the East.
He urged the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states to use the body’s capacities to thwart common threats.
Ashtiani [R above] and Shoigu [L above] also hailed the successful experience of Iran and Russia in the fight against terrorism in the region and called for the expansion of cooperation to counter terrorist threats, separatism and extremism.
They both said that the 3+3 format, which is being implemented in the presence of all the countries of the Caucasus region, is an appropriate framework for solving problems, according to a statement by Iran’s Defence Ministry.
The 3+3 format includes three southern Caucasus countries (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia) and three neighbouring countries (Russia, Turkey and Iran).
Iran was one of the countries that proposed the formation of a 3+3 group in line with its foreign policy of resolving problems, differences and challenges faced by countries in the region.
IRAN–RUSSIA
At the same meeting Ashtiani also met and held talks with his Chinese counterpart Dong Jun in Kazakhstan on Friday.
Appreciating the position of China regarding the recent regional developments, especially the country’s condemnation of the Israeli attack on Iran’s consulate in Damascus on April 1, Ashtiani stressed that the recent tensions in the region and the deplorable conditions in Gaza are the results of the US destabilizing actions in the region and Washington’s support for the child-killing Zionist regime.
The Iranian defence minister also called for enhancing cooperation and convergence between Iran and China to solve regional and international security issues.
Russia Vetoes Ban on Nuclear Weapons in Space at U.N. Security Council.……
Russia used its veto power at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on Wednesday to block a resolution sponsored by the United States and Japan to ban nuclear weapons in outer space.
China abstained from the vote, while the other 13 members of UNSC all voted in favour of the resolution.
Russia’s stated reason for exercising its veto was that the new resolution was unnecessary, because orbital nuclear devices and other weapons of mass destruction (WMD) were already prohibited by the 1967 Outer Space Treaty.
The U.S. and Russia accused each other of playing dirty tricks and indulging in geopolitical theatre by proposing or opposing the new measure, respectively.
U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield said it was “baffling” for Russia to oppose a resolution that merely reaffirmed the 1967 treaty.
“Today’s veto begs the question: Why? Why, if you are following the rules, would you not support a resolution that reaffirms them? What could you possibly be hiding? It’s baffling. And it’s a shame,” she said.
Inept White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan jumped in to second Thomas-Greenfield’s critique, and then answered her rhetorical question by accusing Russia of shooting down the resolution because it is “developing a new satellite carrying a nuclear device.”
Russia has warned that Poland will make itself a ‘priority target‘ if it hosts NATO nuclear weapons on its territory.
In a Thursday statement Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said “Moves in this direction will not provide greater security (for Poland or other nations that host such weapons).”
YEMEN
Houthis Claim Attacks on Three Ships after Two-Week Terror Pause…..
The Iran-backed Houthi insurgents of Yemen announced on Wednesday they had resumed terrorist attacks against Red Sea shipping after a two-week pause.
The Houthis said they targeted three ships: a U.S. destroyer, the U.S. cargo ship Maersk Yorktown, and the Israeli container ship MSC Veracruz.
“The Yemeni armed forces confirm they will continue to prevent Israeli navigation or any navigation heading to the ports of occupied Palestine in the Red and Arabian Seas, as well as in the Indian Ocean,” said Houthi spokesman Yahya Sarea on Wednesday.
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed that the Houthis launched an anti-ship ballistic missile (ASBM) from their territory in Yemen, targeting the MV Yorktown, which CENTCOM described as a “U.S.-flagged, owned, and operated vessel with 18 U.S. and four Greek crew members.”
“There were no injuries or damage reported by U.S., coalition, or commercial ships,” the statement said.
CENTCOM added that U.S. forces “successfully engaged and destroyed four airborne unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) over Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen” that “presented an imminent threat to U.S., coalition, and merchant vessels in the region.”
UKRAINE
Russian air defences destroy 193 Ukrainian UAVs, 3 smart bombs…..
Russian air defence forces shot down 193 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), 2 rockets and 3 smart bombs over the past day, TASS quoted Russian Defence ministry as saying in a report.
“During the last 24-hour period, air defence capabilities shot down 193 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, 2 rockets of the Olkha multiple launch rocket system and 3 French-made Hammer guided aerial bombs,” the ministry said.
In its daily report, the Ministry said that in all, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 592 Ukrainian warplanes, 270 helicopters, 23,325 unmanned aerial vehicles, 509 surface-to-air missile systems, 15,856 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 1,274 multiple rocket launchers, 9,140 field artillery guns and mortars and 21,308 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
Reports are suggesting that Ukraine has withdrawn its U.S.-supplied M1 Abrams tanks from front line operations — for the time being, at least.
It’s said that the reason for the move is their vulnerability to drone attacks, although the reasoning is somewhat hazy.
Most likely, the tanks have been pulled since they are considered especially valuable assets, and having more examples knocked out — or, worse still, captured — by Russia would be a significant propaganda and materiel loss for Kyiv.
Two U.S. military officials confirmed the move to, stating that Russian drone operations, in particular, mean that the Abrams cannot operate effectively without detection or coming under attack.
The proliferation of drones on the battlefield means “there isn’t open ground that you can just drive across without fear of detection,” a senior defence official told reporters yesterday.
New WEF Report……..
A New World Economic Forum report says 98 percent of central banks have agreed to replace paper money with trackable ‘digital cash‘
Despite almost zero coverage in the mainstream corporate media, this sea change in the way transactions are conducted has been decades in the making and will end the concept of privacy and anonymity
The era of cash money is nearing its end, and with it will come the end of privacy.
The World Economic Forum claims that the world’s central banks have agreed to implement the globalists’ long-awaited dream of a cashless society.
Most central banks, such as the U.S. Federal Reserve, are quasi-government institutions owned privately by billionaire bankers.
And the WEF is not the first to reveal the plans of the globalist elite, which have been preparing for years to eliminate paper fiat currencies.
The grand plan is now very close to being realized, perhaps just awaiting a triggering event – a Black Swan event of some type – before making the switch to “digital cash.”
The latest revelation was made in a new white paper from the WEF which declares that nations around the world will soon be “forced” to adopt this new dystopian atrocity.
America’s Heartland Devastated…..
An estimated 59 or more tornadoes tore across America’s heartland, leaving catastrophic destruction in multiple states today.
Dozens of tornadoes impacting millions of residents are leaving a trail of destruction.
Twenty million Americans, from Texas to Iowa, are on alert for twisters, large hail and up to 70 mph winds.
There were at least 59 reported tornadoes across Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa as of 7 p.m. ET, according to the National Weather Service.
