Who Needs Enemies…?
Earlier this week, renowned Bible scholar and all-round sound thinker, the aging Joe Biden, president of what perhaps remains the most powerful nation on earth showed his absolute solidarity with the little nation of Israel.
Sagely, he informed Seth Meyers during a taping [above] of the ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers,’ TV talk-fest “To survive, Israel must take opportunity for peace, security with [Arab] Palestinians“
Singling out [National Security Minister Itamar] Ben Gvir, [pictured below] Joe warned; [Israel’s] “Incredibly conservative government’ will cost Israel global support“.
So, Israel must make peace with a nation that never existed, which claims Jerusalem as its capital, or suffer the loss ofanimaginaryglobal approval?
Not content with this veiled threat, Biden also presumptuously signaled that a temporary ceasefire in Gaza could be at hand, saying that Israel has agreed to pause its offensive during the upcoming Muslim month of Ramadan if a deal is reached to release some hostages held by Hamas.
This was vigorously denied by both HAMAS and Israel – Israeli officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they weren’t authorized to discuss the sensitive talks with the media, said that Israel wants a deal immediately but Hamas continues to push excessive demands.
They also said that Israel is insisting that female soldiers be part of the first group of hostages released under any truce deal.
Hamas official Ahmad Abdel-Hadi [pictured below] meanwhile said the terror group would not budge.
This duplicitous president, who stressed that he is a Zionist, said the “only way Israel ultimately survives… here’s the deal, they also have to… take advantage of an opportunity to have peace and security for Israelis and Palestinians who are being used as pawns by Hamas.”
A temporary ceasefire “gives us time to begin to move in directions that a lot of Arab countries are prepared to move” in terms of normalizing relations with Israel, he said.
“For example, Saudi Arabia is ready to recognize Israel,” he said, referencing Riyadh’s desire to forge ties with Israel if it commits to concrete steps towards a two-state solution.
“I think that if we get that temporary ceasefire, we’re going to be able to move in a direction where we can change the dynamic — and not have a two-state solution immediately but a process to get to a two-state solution, a process to guarantee Israel’s security and the independence of the Palestinians.”
Amid mounting tensions with Netanyahu, Biden told Meyers that if Israel continued with the “incredibly conservative government they have, and Ben Gvir and others… they’re going to lose support from around the world. And that is not in Israel’s interest.”
No, Joe, if you continue along this path it will not be Israel’s interests in jeopardy but yours, your country, and any other nation that joins this insistence that God’s land be divided to appease His enemies.
Already America and many western nations are in sharp societal decline and suffering judgement over their anti-Semitic treatment of world-wide Jewry.
This situation will not improve. In fact if the Bible is accurate, and it is, the citizen’s cry for Jewish blood and displacement will soon reach fever pitch.
One of the very clear signs of the coming Time of Jacobs Trouble is the rise of an irrational hatred of God’s elect – and a strong desire to see them eradicated.
In the days ahead, as Israel conquers Rafah and the remaining HAMAS battalions cowering there, [as she must], the legacy media, traitorous politicians and biblically illiterate global citizens will clamour for an end of this troublesome country which they now see as committing genocide against an innocent people.
This is not the TRUTH – it is all a huge end-time lie – a lie that is now so well entrenched in people’s minds that it will have them plunging toward the judgement promised for those who put their mind to dividing God’s land.
Those are the days in which we live.
Most don’t recognize the prophetic importance of each moment now, including so many in the church today, and yet global events will now pivot on what is done in the region in the hours ahead.
There is no doubt that the God of Israel is about to show His hand in human affairs, and it will not be as most believe it should be.
Watch for some rather peculiar events that will accompany this insistent push for Israel to be territorially weakened.
As the saying goes; “Who needs enemies with friends like these?“
“I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land“. Joel 3;2
Is this prophecy about to be fulfilled?…………
“And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.“
“And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to SHAME and EVERLASTING CONTEMPT” [Daniel 12 1-2]
Biden, Sunak, Trudeau, Macron, Wong, Gates, Schwab and their ilk do not realize that tiny Israel is being carefully watched over by an omnipotent God whose eyes are always upon Jerusalem and His people.
Netanyahu counters Biden:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday night hit back at U.S. President Joe Biden for claiming that the Jewish state’s “incredibly conservative government” risked losing it international support.
“Since the start of the war, I have been leading a diplomatic campaign to block pressure designed to end the war prematurely and to secure strong support for Israel,” said Netanyahu in a video message.
“We have had considerable success. Today, a Harvard-Harris poll was published which shows that 82% of the American public supports Israel, meaning that four out of five U.S. citizens support Israel and not Hamas,” he continued.
“This will help us continue the campaign until total victory,” added the premier.
GAZA – HAMAS
Gantz: Israel preparing for Rafah operation…….It will happen during Ramadan if there is no hostage deal.
War cabinet minister Benny Gantz, [pictured below] head of the National Unity Party, issued a statement during a press conference Wednesday evening, saying that Israel is preparing for an operation in Rafah after it evacuates the civilians from the area.
The minister also claimed that unilateral international recognition of a Palestinian state, without bilateral agreements, “a tailwind for terrorism.”
“It would be a mistake to give such a tailwind to terrorism,” Gantz said.
“Political arrangements must take place directly, otherwise they will not be sustainable. In any future situation, Israel will maintain its supremacy and security capability throughout the Gaza Strip.”
The Israel Defence Forces reported that it has killed over 450 Arab Palestinian fighters in the past 10 days across the Gaza Strip.
Israeli forces have concentrated their clearing operations around Zaytoun in the northern Gaza Strip as well as around western and eastern Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
The IDF added that it has killed over 13,000 Palestinian fighters since the beginning of fighting in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas’ military force had approximately 40,000 members prior to the war—not including the forces of other Arab Palestinian militias aligned with Hamas in the war.
Some Hamas fighters it appears have resumed contact with their command and returned from areas of fighting to report several attacks targeting Israeli forces in Zaytoun.
The Hamas fighters reported that they had detonated an HBIED and two explosive-rigged tunnels targeting Israeli forces. Hamas also fired an anti-tank RPG and detonated an explosively formed penetrating (EFP) targeting an IDF tank south of Zaytoun.
A Palestinian activist reported on February 28 that Israeli vehicles operated in Mughraqa, south of Zaytoun, amid sounds of artillery fire.
These fighters’ inability to communicate with higher headquarters until returning to rear areas indicates a breakdown of command and control and probably means that Hamas commanders cannot transmit orders to some of their fighters presently engaged with the IDF.
Israeli forces continued to conduct clearing operations in western and eastern Khan Younis on February 29.
The IDF 7th Brigade (assigned to the 36th Division) killed four Palestinian fighters who attempted to plant a roadside IED in western Khan Younis.
The IDF Givati Brigade (assigned to the 162nd Division), which is operating in eastern Khan Younis, directed an airstrike to kill five Palestinian fighters.
Palestinian militia aligned with Hamas in the war claimed that their fighters clashed with Israeli forces in eastern Khan Younis on February 29.
Hamas chief Haniyeh calls on Arabs to Storm al-Aqsa on Ramadan….
Hamas terror chief Ismail Haniyeh made a televised statement on Wednesday calling on barricades at al-Aqsa Mosque at the start of Ramadan and Hamas’s “flexible” stance on hostage negotiations.
In a televised statement, senior Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh called on residents of the West Bank [Judea and Samaria] and Jerusalem to barricade themselves at the al-Aqsa Mosque at the beginning of Ramadan.
Haniyeh also called for “a broad and international movement to break the siege on al-Aqsa Mosque.”
Haniyeh asserted that when it came to hostage negotiations, Hamas was demonstrating “flexibility,” though the terrorist group maintained that they would continue fighting.
Fatah and Hamas meet in Moscow to discuss “Unified” Palestinian Government…
Representatives of Hamas and Fatah met in Moscow on Thursday to discuss the formation of a unified Palestinian government and the rebuilding of Gaza, the RIA state news agency reported on Wednesday, citing the Palestinian ambassador to Russia.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov also confirmed to RIA Novosti that such a meeting was planned.
Hamas’ political wing published a statement confirming the meeting and emphasized that the various factions seem to have changed their collective minds and now agree on the need to form a Palestinian state.
Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergei Lavrov said during the opening remarks that violence will continue in the region until certain things are addressed, namely the issue of creating a Palestinian state.
Lavrov claimed that Russia has repeatedly advocated for the resumption of direct dialogue between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
Lavrov’s statement is consistent with how Russia has framed itself as a possible mediator between Israel and Hamas throughout the war.
The IDF has targeted Hamas’ police and internal security apparatus to disrupt Hamas’ attempts to rebuild its governing authority in the strip.
Dozens of individuals died in a crowd near a humanitarian aid convoy in the northern Gaza Strip on February 28.
The IDF reported that thousands of Arab Palestinians swarmed 30 aid trucks south of Gaza City.
An eyewitness reported that the trucks attempted to escape the area and accidentally rammed people, causing the deaths and injuries.
LEBANON
‘Lebanon next‘: Iran green lights Hezbollah attack on Israel…..
Iran has given Lebanon’s Hezbollah the green light to escalate its attacks along Israel’s northern border, the Arabic Post reported on Wednesday, citing high-level Iranian and Lebanese sources.
The Islamic Republic has reportedly set conditions for Hezbollah, ordering it to launch a large-scale attack on Israel only after it “had become certain of Israel’s intention” to carry out an invasion of the southern Gaza city of Rafah.
As per the report, Tehran gave the go-ahead amid fears that, after the IDF completes an invasion of Rafah, southern Lebanon “will be next.”
US officials are increasingly concerned that Israel will launch a ground incursion into Lebanon in early spring or summer 2024, according to unnamed Biden administration officials.
One senior US official said that an Israeli campaign in Lebanon is a “distinct possibility” in the next several months.
The New York Times previously reported in December 2023 that the United States held talks with Israel, Lebanon, and intermediaries for Lebanese Hezbollah to “reduce tensions” on the Israel-Lebanon border.
An Israeli airstrike hit a Lebanese Hezbollah truck on the Lebanon-Syria border on February 29, according to Reuters, killing one Hezbollah fighter.
Pro-Syrian regime media reported that the airstrike occurred around al Nahariyya, which is on the outskirts of Qusayr.
The IDF Air force has increased its strikes into Syria since December 2023 to disrupt the IRGC Quds Force and Hezbollah’s efforts to bring personnel and weapons into Lebanon from Syria.
The Israeli airstrikes are responding to Iranian efforts to accelerate the supply of military equipment to Lebanese Hezbollah.
YEMEN
Iranian and Hezbollah in Yemen aiding Houthi attacks.….
Operatives from Iran and its Lebanese ally Hezbollah are working inside Yemen to support Houthi insurgents’ attacks on international shipping, a US official said Tuesday.
Tim Lenderking, [pictuted below] the US special envoy for Yemen, told a Senate subcommittee that Iran’s clerical state was “equipping and facilitating” the Houthi attacks, which have triggered retaliatory US and British strikes on Yemen.
“Credible public reports suggest a significant number of Iranian and Lebanese Hezbollah operatives are supporting Houthi attacks from inside Yemen,” Lenderking said.
“I can’t imagine the Yemeni people want these Iranians in their country. This must stop,” he said.
Houthi-controlled media claimed that the United States and United Kingdom conducted airstrikes on four sites in Hudayduh Governorate, Yemen, on February 29.
Al Masirah stated the strikes targeted Ras Issa and al Kuwayzi areas of coastal Yemen.
Neither the United States nor the United Kingdom have confirmed the strikes at the time of this writing.
Houthi Supreme Leader Abdulmalik al Houthi [pictured below] claimed the Houthis have attacked 54 vessels since the start of their anti-shipping campaign in November 2023.
Abdulmalik said that Houthi forces have used 384 drones and missiles in those attacks.
Observers have recorded at least 97 instances of the Houthis threatening ships around the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden in this time frame.
The White House said in December that Iran was “deeply involved” in planning the attacks, which the Houthis say are acts of solidarity with the Arab Palestinians in the Israel-Hamas war.
Lenderking, who has dealt with the Houthis since the start of US President Joe Biden’s administration as he helped diplomacy to freeze a brutal civil war, acknowledged that the rebels have not been deterred.
“The fact that they continue this, and have said publicly that they will not stop until there’s a ceasefire in Gaza, is an indication that we’re not yet at the point, unfortunately, where they do intend to dial back,” Lenderking said.
SYRIA
At least two Hezbollah operatives killed in Damascus strike…..
Opposition group says Israel is behind a strike targeting three sites in the Syrian capital including a building that may have been used as a command centre for pro-Iran militias
At least two members of the Lebanese Hezbollah terror group were killed on Wednesday in a strike on Damascus, a Syrian opposition group said.
The group later added that a Syrian military installation was also targeted.
In an official statement the Syrian Defence Ministry said most missiles fired in the attack which it attributed to Israel, were intercepted and that there was no damage caused.
The UK based Observatory for Human Rights, another opposition group said that Hezbollah operatives were killed in the strike.
A report on the Lebanese Al Mayadeen television channel, which is affiliated with the Hezbollah terror group, said a loud explosion was heard in the Sayeda Zainab neighbourhood in the city.
Regional intelligence sources say Iran’s Quds Force and militias it backs, whose presence has spread in Syria in recent years, have a strong presence in that neighbourhood of southern Damascus where Iranian backed militias have a string of underground bases.
Israel forces have also attacked with three missiles a position of the air-defence forces and radar systems near Dummar project, four kilometres away from the extension of Dummar project in the vicinity of the capital Damascus.
This coincided with an attempt by the regime’s air-defences to intercept the missiles. However, the Israeli missiles reached their goals.
IRAN
Iran and Russia are continuing to deepen security and economic cooperation.
Russia launched the Iranian Pars-1 satellite into a low earth orbit using a Soyuz rocket on February 29.
Iranian state media reported that the Pars-1 satellite has three cameras and will scan Iran’s topography from an orbit of 500 kilometers.
Iranian Communications and Information Technology Minister Issa Zareh Pour claimed on February 29 that the Pars-1 satellite’s launch into orbit marks Iran’s 12th satellite launch in the past 25 months.
The Russian launch of this Iranian satellite is part of a larger trend in which Moscow has increasingly supported the Iranian space program.
Russia previously launched a Kanopus-V satellite—alternatively referred to as the Khayyam in Iran—into orbit in August 2022 on Iran’s behalf.
Iran can use satellites capable of collecting imagery to improve its targeting for attacks abroad.
IRC-affiliated media reported in July 2020 that the IRGC used its satellites to collect intelligence on US military positions in the Middle East.
Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji [pictured above] separately announced on February 28 that Iranian and Russian officials signed 11 memorandums of understanding during the 17th annual Iran-Russia Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation in Tehran between February 26-28.
The agreements cover business, energy, political, and transportation cooperation.
Owji stated that Iranian and Russian officials also discussed “peaceful space and nuclear cooperation,” and banking and financial cooperation, the Rasht-Astara and Garmsar-Incheh Borun railways, and the Sirik Power Plant during the economic conference.
The major players in the Ezekiel 38/9 coalition steadily deepen cooperation as the time to join forces in attacking Israel draws near.
UKRAINE
Scholz Says Germans Would Need To Deploy Troops With Taurus Missiles.
Germany’s Chancellor [pictured above] says his troops would have to go to Ukraine for Taurus missiles to be used in the war, which he is unwilling to allow.
So, Germany won’t send Taurus missiles to Ukraine because troops would have to go with them.
Coming under continued pressure to give Kyiv Taurus, Germany’s Chancellor Olaf Scholz has now stated “that was out of the question” regarding the potential transfer.
The larger context surrounding this statement stems partially from an earlier disagreement between France and other NATO allies, including Germany, about the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine.
But what Scholz was specifically referring to in terms of Taurus was the back end support needed to operate the system, including mission planning hardware and software that includes 3D models of the globe and sensitive information.
As such, the system would have to be deployed to Ukraine and operated by German personnel, which is a red line he is not willing to cross.
Others have argued that Ukrainians can be trained on the system and reasonable security precautions could be put in place to allay concerns, if the system would have to be deployed to Ukraine at all.
Regardless, Scholz has also said the risk of provoking Russia via supplying long-range weaponry in itself is something he is not willing to take a risk on even though the U.K. and France have already done so in the form of Storm Shadow and SCALP-EG.
“Germany is Ukraine’s largest military supporter in Europe. It stays that way. But one thing is clear: we will not become a warring party – neither directly nor indirectly. These two principles guide all my decisions,” Scholz wrote in a post on X recently.
In response to these comments from Scholz, and possible U.K. and French involvement in targeting for these weapons, the United Kingdom said today that how Kyiv chooses to use donated cruise missiles is “the business of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”
A spokesperson for U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak [above left] meanwhile told reporters that the United Kingdom has “a small number of personnel in country supporting the armed forces of Ukraine, including for medical training.”
Meanwhile, stocks of the missiles Ukraine is already using could be in doubt.
It looks like further deliveries of French SCALP-EG cruise missiles to Ukraine could be threatened by limited production output.
Currently, the manufacturing effort is producing SCALP EG missiles to meet a Greek order.
Beyond that, the French Armed Forces Minister says that additional orders will need to be placed by France, both to back-fill its own stocks and provide additional weapons for Ukraine.
==================================
NEWS from the BATTLEFIELD:
Now to news from the battlefield, where the Russian Ministry of Defence claims that its forces have captured Petrovske, formerly renamed by Ukraine as Stepove, in eastern Ukraine.
This was reported by the Russian state-owned news agency RIA Novosti but has not been independently confirmed.
Russia is taking advantage of its momentum after taking war-torn Avdviika after many months of brutal fighting.
There is real concern that further breakthroughs could lead to increasingly wider gains, especially as Ukraine is running low on artillery that is critical to keeping Russian forces at bay.
As concerns over rapidly diminishing Ukrainian ammunition stocks continue to grow, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called upon allies in the Balkan region to step in to assist.
During a two-day summit in Albania, Zelenskyy proposed a joint arms production initiative. “We are interested in co-production with you and all our partners,” Zelenskiy told delegations from Albania, Serbia, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Bosnia, Montenegro, Croatia, and Moldova in his opening remarks at the summit, which began yesterday.
Meanwhile, Zelenskyy says that U.S. House Speaker Johnson, [above] who is holding-up a vote on a bill that would fund weapons transfers to Ukraine, said he was promised by the politician back in December that he would do everything he could to help Ukraine.
In the southeast of Ukraine, specifically the Zaporizhzhia region, heavy fighting continues and trench warfare remains prevalent.
Over Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, Ukraine once again came under attack by Russian drone and missile strikes.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia used S-300 surface-to-air missiles in a land-attack capacity. The same source claimed that 10 drones were shot down, but did not say whether the missiles reached their targets.
As well as drones and missiles, Russia continues to make extensive use of bombs fitted with UMPK kits, or Unifitsirovannyi Modul Planirovaniya i Korrektsii, meaning unified gliding and correction modules.
This relatively crude wing and guidance kit fitted to any of a variety of general-purpose bombs has become a major concern for Ukraine, due to the significant problems in intercepting them.
The South Korean defence chief said that North Korea was producing the weapons for Russia in exchange for much-needed food and other necessities.

A most interesting update. Thanks Mike.
The world “groans” under threat of spreading war and godless (read “satanic”) agendas….and for us believers, how fascinating to watch God’s plan to bring human history to its prophesied conclusion continue to unfold around Israel….just as He said it would!
