“We’ll drink a cup of kindness Yet – For the sake of Auld Lang Syne……”
Editorial
As these irrelevant words were sung in differing tongues around a reeling globe at midnight on 31 December 2023 to bring in a new year of escalating war, chaos, tyranny and general mayhem – few in the western nations seemed aware of the horrors that are being constructed around them and so they went generally unnoticed.
Government coffers were opened wide and poured into the most expensive and lavish firework displays around global capitals in an effort to outdo each other.
They were a display of a deep denial of the activities tearing much of the planet apart at the end of a tortuous year in which the Middle East exploded and thousands continue to die.
Anti-Semitism at a strength not seen since the late 1930’s saw vast crowds on city streets demanding that Jews be gassed once again, and driven into the Mediterranean Sea for daring to protect themselves from murderous thugs who committed crimes against their civilians that are beyond description.
In the closing days of 2023 the spectre arose once again of medical masking, lock-downs, and mandatory inoculation against spurious COVD 19 “variants” apparently raising pressure on medical facilities everywhere.
In the early hours of 2024 legislation was being quietly tabled in many parliaments to further implement the UN, WHO and WEF plans to subjugate the human race before a 2030 deadline.
Hatred hubris and insults flew between national leaders and threats to unleash their militaries against each other increased to fever pitch.
Cups of kindness seem in short supply.
Overarching all this though is the undeniable fact that our world is beginning to resemble that foretold by the Biblical prophets of old.
To understand what is occurring, and what is ahead, only a Biblical worldview will suffice – otherwise it all looks like everyone and their particular “gods” have gone totally mad.
National alignments and pacts thought impossible not too long ago are now reality.
China and Russia recently announced military and industrial ties. Once friendly nations toward Israel, namely Egypt, Jordan, Persia and Turkey have joined a latter-day alliance described in the writings of Ezekiel, along with Libya, Sudan and Ethiopia, all determined to bring about the demise of Israel.
Let’s face it. We have crossed the Rubicon, the bridge too far, there’s no going back now. The momentum of prophetic fulfilment is past being halted.
The wars will spread, the economic situation will deteriorate, the global balance of power will continue to realign – and the trap being set for unbelieving mankind will snap shut.
At the risk of recklessly sticking our heads above the parapet, 2024 will be a pivotal year in world history – never before have the forces of evil been so arrayed against humanity.
Spiritually, the lifeboat is hanging from the davits – it won’t be too long and it will become unavailable – call on God and His Christ for salvation before that becomes out of reach also.
Israel Widens Gaza Offensive.…….
‘diplomatic agreement with Hezbollah possible’:
HAMAS is claiming 22,300 people have been killed in Gaza, according to the Health Ministry in the Hamas-ruled territory.
Israel continued heavy firing in central Gaza and the southern city of Khan Younis, where Israeli officials said Hamas’s military structure was still largely intact.
Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant said several thousand Hamas fighters remain in northern Gaza, where entire neighbourhoods have been blasted into rubble, the Associated Press reported.
Meanwhile, days after a suspected Israeli strike on a Hamas leader in Beirut threatened a dramatic escalation between the two countries, Gallant said a diplomatic agreement with Lebanon’s Hezbollah was still possible.
At least 12 people were killed after an Israeli airstrike hit a home in southern Gaza – that the military had declared a safe zone
The attack was reported from near the city of Khan Younis. According to the Associated Press, the strike hit a house in Mawasi, a small rural strip on Gaza’s southern coastline, and killed a couple, seven of their children, and three other children.
Israeli troops pushed into Khan Younis in early December and have been battling Hamas terrorists there for weeks. On Thursday, the Israeli military said its troops uncovered a large tunnel hundreds of metres long with an entrance in a field next to a mosque.
Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant [pictured above] has said that a diplomatic agreement with Lebanon’s Hezbollah was still possible. During a meeting in Tel Aviv, Gallant told a White House envoy, “We find ourselves at a junction. There is a short window of time for diplomatic understandings, which we prefer.”
Gallant also said a top priority was ensuring some 80,000 Israeli civilians forced to evacuate northern communities near the Lebanese border could return to their homes safely.
The area was evacuated after Hezbollah began shelling northern Israel, shortly after the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war. Israel has demanded that Hezbollah respect a 2006 UN cease-fire requiring it to pull back from the Israeli border.
Jordan launched several aerial raids inside Syria on Thursday against suspected warehouses and hideouts of Iranian-backed drug smugglers, The Times of Israel reported, quoting local and regional intelligence sources.
The strikes took place in southern Syria, near the Jordanian border.
Gallant has said Israel will transition to what he calls Phase III of the fighting, during which the battles in northern Gaza will be at a lower intensity and include raids, the destruction of terror tunnels, aerial and ground activities, and special operations.
In southern Gaza, operational efforts will focus on eliminating Hamas leadership and enabling the return of the hostages, Gallant said.
He also said the Israeli military’s fighting in Gaza will continue until the hostages are returned, Hamas’s military and governing capabilities are dismantled and all military threats from Gaza are removed.
Further, presenting his plan for post-war Gaza, Gallant outlined a “four-cornered civilian square,” including Israel, the Arab Palestinians, a multinational task force, and Egypt.
Israel “will provide information to guide civilian operations” and also carry out inspection of goods entering Gaza in order to ensure that no weapons are smuggled into the enclave, Gallant said.
The Israel Defence Forces have said they have completed a targeted activity at a Hamas compound in central Gaza, where they identified several tunnel shafts leading to a network of hundreds of metres of Hamas tunnels.
Former US Vice President Mike Pence [pictured above] visited war-battered southern Israel on Thursday and expressed his support for the country in its war against Hamas. “Israel has no choice, but to fight and destroy Hamas once and for all, and I, as a representative from the United States, am going to continue to support Israel until they accomplish their mission,” Pence said.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken [pictured below] is set to visit Israel on a trip to the Middle East, continuing the Joe Biden administration’s intense diplomacy over Israel’s three-month-long conflict with Hamas, as fears of a broader regional conflagration grow.
Blinken’s week-long trip – his fourth to the region since Hamas’s deadly October 7 attacks, will include visits to Israel and Judea and Samaria, as well as Jordan, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
He will also make stops in Turkey and Greece. According to news agency Reuters,
Blinken will repeat his calls to get more humanitarian aid into Gaza while attempting to make progress on the sensitive subject of how the Gaza Strip could be managed after the war.
A meeting of the high-level security cabinet intended to discuss what Gaza will look like in the post-war period was put on ice after it descended into a shouting match as right-wing ministers attacked Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi,
According to the Walla news site and others, ministers attacked Halevy over the make-up of a panel formed to probe the military’s mistakes in the lead-up to the October 7 massacres, which will include Shaul Mofaz, who was defence minister from 2002 to 2006. As others shouted back, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ended the meeting, according to the reports.

Middle East War Update…..
Israeli forces have clashed with Arab Palestinian fighters in nine locations across Judea and Samaria.
The al Quds Brigades detonated an IED targeting Israeli forces near Tulkarm on January 4.
The al Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades ambushed Israeli forces with small arms fire and IEDs during Israeli raids in Balata, Nablus on the same day.
They also attacked Israeli forces in Masliya, Jenin, and Netsani Oz, near Tulkarm, and also fired small arms at an Israeli settlement near Hebron.
The IDF said that Israeli security forces arrested five wanted men across the region.
Arab Palestinians demonstrated in four towns on January 5 following Hamas’ call on January 4 for protests against Israeli operations in Gaza and the killing of Hamas Deputy Political Chairman Saleh al Arouri.
Hamas supporters organized marches commemorating Arouri in Arouri’s hometown of Aroura, Tulkarm, and Jenin on January 5.
Demonstrators also protested against Israeli operations in Gaza in Ramallah.
Lebanese Hezbollah continued to signal that it does not seek escalation to a full-fledged war with Israel.
Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah [pictured above] detailed the groups’ attacks on northern Israel since the start of the Israel-Hamas war at a memorial for an HAMAS commander on January 5.
Nasrallah claimed that Hiballah did not target civilians in its 670 attacks into northern Israel over the past three months, yet claimed some attacks on non-evacuated civilian towns, such as Kiryat Shmona, and civilian infrastructure in Avivim.
They also allow Arab Palestinian militias to launch rockets at civilian targets from Hizballah -controlled southern Lebanon.
Nasrallah claimed that the only way for civilians to return to northern Israel is to stop Israeli operations in the Gaza Strip, not through war with his forces,
Nasrallah called on Iranian-backed Iraqi proxy militias to expel US forces from Iraq and he celebrated the Houthi anti-shipping campaign.
He reiterated that Hizballah in Lebanon reserves the right to respond to Israel’s killing of Hamas leader Saleh al Arouri in Beirut “in the proper time and place” but he did not make specific threats.
Iranian-backed militias, including Hizballah, conducted six attacks from southern Lebanon into northern Israel on January 5.
They claimed three attacks targeting Israeli military positions using heavy-payload Burkan rockets and artillery shells.
This rate of attacks is a decrease from the 13 attacks that HAMAS claimed on January 3 after Israel killed senior Hamas official Saleh al Arouri in Beirut on January 2.
Unspecified fighters separately launched three rocket barrages at towns in northern Israel on January 5.
Iran Update
An end to Israeli operations in the Gaza Strip will not on its own stop Iranian escalation because Iran’s effort to expel the United States from the region and decrease US influence transcends the war.
Iran and its partners are using the Israel-Hamas War as a rhetorical cover to pursue their strategic objectives of decreasing US influence in the region by escalating against the United States politically and militarily.
Iran and its proxies are using a two-pronged political and military approach to evict US forces from Iraq, for example.
This is one step in Iran’s larger goal to expel the United States from the entire Middle East.
The attacks in the Bab al Mandeb demonstrate that Iran and its Houthi partner could shut down both the Straits of Hormuz and Bab al Mandeb—a long-held aspiration for both parties that is independent of the Israel-Hamas War.
The United States cannot ignore Iranian and Iranian proxy escalations in the Middle East out of the desire to avoid being drawn into a regional “quagmire.”
Iranian-backed attacks in the Red Sea threaten vital shipping lanes and are already affecting global trade. The Iranian-backed Houthi movement has forced global shipping giants to divert shipping away from the Bab al Mandeb.
Thirty-three percent of global shipping transits the Bab al Mandeb, meaning that Houthi attacks in the Bab al Mandeb generate global effects that cannot be ignored.
The shipping company Maersk announced on January 5 that it would divert its ships around the Cape of Good Hope for the foreseeable future.
Maersk cited security risks, which is a reference to Houthi attacks that have repeatedly targeted the company’s ships.
The company paused shipping through the Red Sea on January 2 after it briefly restarted the route on December 24, when the US established Operation Prosperity Guardian to protect commercial traffic through the Red Sea.
Maersk alone accounts for roughly 17 percent of global shipping.
China Constructs New Aircraft Carrier Target ……..
China has constructed a new aircraft carrier target on a sprawling range in the northwestern end of the country [pictured above[ that is a dead-ringer for the U.S. Navy’s newest super-carrier, the USS Gerald R. Ford, which has just exited the Red Sea and is returning homer to its US base after time protecting Isrtael’s interest in the area late last year.
The target underscores the People’s Liberation Army’s continued focus on expanding and refining its ability to engage American carriers and other warships over long distances, which includes a growing arsenal of anti-ship ballistic and cruise missiles.
This is all part of China’s evolving anti-access and area denial strategy across much of the Western Pacific.
The image of the new carrier target on the range in the Taklamakan Desert in China’s Xinjiang province was taken on January 1 by Planet Labs. A full-scale black-coloured silhouette in the shape of the USS Gerald R. Ford, and future carriers in that class, roughly 1,085 feet long, is plainly visible.
There is also a structure in the same position as Ford’s command island, as well as four catapult tracks marked on the ‘deck’ in the same places they appear on the real ship.
The unique sponsons and other outcroppings, including a broader, squared-off stern, that are found on the Ford are also present in the target silhouette.
Work on the new carrier target began in November 2023. A review of past satellite imagery available through Planet Labs also shows that a rough outline of a carrier has been present there for some time.
Several smaller aircraft carrier silhouettes have also been erected within the larger outline and subsequently removed at this site in the Taklamakan Desert on multiple occasions since 2021.
This new target in the Taklamakan Desert representing the USS Gerald R. Ford makes clear the PLA continues to put great emphasis on being able to challenge American carriers in any future conflict.
Former Israeli Hostage Speaks Out.…
Former Israeli hostage 21 year old Mia Schem [pictured above] spoke out for the first time about her ordeal in Gaza.
When she realized that she was being held by so called “civilians” it finally dawned on Mia that there are no innocents in Gaza. ”Not one,” she said in the interview.
While she insisted she was not directly raped, she believed that was only because the wife of the man who was holding her in his family’s home was in the next room.
Mia’s story is key to changing the mindset about “innocent” civilians in Gaza being oppressed by Hamas.
The fact is, Hamas and Islamic Jihad have wide support throughout the Gaza Strip and Judea and Samaria.
Despite this, the world wants Israel to ease its military operations because of the destruction the IDF has caused throughout Gaza.
Yet, leaving Gazans where they are, essentially means that Hamas wins. This would be seen as a victory for Hamas and other Muslim Brotherhood led groups.
Only by treating Gaza in its entirety as one singular enemy can Israel defeat the barbaric Islamic Nazis in the Southwest of its land.
Is There A Solution?
The only solution is transfer. There is no way Israel can have 2.5 million people within its midst prepared to slaughter Jewish civilians whenever they get a chance.
With most of these so called civilians already homeless now is the time to finally deport them around the world.
Only by depopulating Gaza, reversing the land grab that the Arabs from Egypt initiated in 1948, and repopulating the entire Gaza Strip with Jewish civilians will victory be ensured.
No country would put up with a Nazi like “civilian” populace in its land and neither should Israel.
- Secret UFO meeting prompts speculation – what Government is hiding?
A secret meeting to discuss UFOs is taking place in the heart of the US government next week – raising questions about what intelligence officials are keeping from the public.
Members of the House Oversight Committee will be given a classified briefing on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), the new name for UFOs, in the Office of House Security on Friday, January 12.
While a NASA report released last year stated there was no evidence that any UAP had an ‘extraterrestrial source’, interest in what or who is behind these mysterious objects in the sky remains at an all-time high.
And while until recently mention of UFOs was met with scepticism or ridicule, concerns over the threat to airspace safety is increasingly being cited as reason enough for governments across the globe to share everything they know.
In November, a Freedom of Information request revealed a Ryanair plane came within 20 metres of a UFO while taking off from Stansted airport in Essex. The plane, which was travelling at 230 mph, passed the ‘black object’ at 4,000ft.
Last month, the UK’s leading UFO expert Nick Pope revealed fears that ‘demonic forces’ were behind UAP and had previously obstructed government investigations into the phenomena.
Maybe 2024 will be the time for the “Great Reveal“?? A plausible reason for explaining away the rapture of the church will be needed soon enough.
