ISRAEL AT WAR
Many thanks again to Mike Claydon for a tremendous summary of Israel at War. In this monkey’s opinion this is the most accurate Biblically based report available, I feel privileged to share it. You are on the precipice of Eternity.

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God”. [2 Timothy 3-4]When usually reticent and sober commentators and researchers are beginning to use words such as ‘insane’, ‘madness’, and ‘perilous” to describe the events of today you can sense something has gone horribly wrong with the staus quo. When the Koine Greek word used for “Perilous” from the Greek word ‘chalepós‘ in the original text would mean ‘violent’, ‘fierce‘ ‘insane’, ‘madness’. It appears earlier in Matthew 8.8, and can be translated as ”fierce‘ concerning the behaviour of the demon possessed in the country of the Gergesenes In that context it describes something wild, out of control. In 2 Timothy the context is referring to the ”times” being again violent, fierce and thus distressing…probably some other adjectives could be loosely added to this. Arguably, ‘perilous’ does not fully describe the depth and strength of the Greek ‘chalepós‘. Certainly the scenes we see now in Israel and Gaza is more than adequately described by this word. As the news gushes out upon a startled and frightened world we witness so many people, Christians included, who imply cannot watch the horrendous images of carnage and destruction.
Seeing terrified young women being kidnapped and rushed back to Gaza on motorcycles, the blood soaked sheets of children’s cots, and cars as far as the eye can see burnt out with doors open as the occupants tried to flee from a massacre at a music festival celebrating the end of Sukkot, to Jews huddling on street corners as the rockets rain down upon them simply brings on a sensory overload. How, we ask, could this be happening to a country possessing the most sophisticated and effective intelligence services of any nation? If a cat dares to walk on the Gaza wall it triggers a response. And yet, a rag-tag group of thugs on motorcycles and para-gliders managed to breach that wall and bring death and destruction to villagers and members of a military once the envy of the world? This will become a matter of much debate and whispers of conspiracy in the months to come and many heads will no doubt roll – perhaps even terminating many current political and military careers. Now that the initial shock has dissipated somewhat and the continuous bombing of Gaza becomes a screen-saver on our televisions, the global mood is changing, as it always does, to focus on the outrage that the Jews are daring to defend themselves from a simply demonic enemy. The words “proportionality”,“war crime”, “inhumanity”, “massacre” “occupation” and “revenge” spew forth from historically ignorant media networks as the religion of perpetual outrage is given hours of air time to portray any attempt to protect a democratic nation as a war crime! Gaza is NOT “occupied” by Israel! If anything it is occupied and administered by the terrorist organisation HAMAS? This rabble were voted into power by the citizens of the enclave, willingly or by coercion, after prime minister Ariel Sharon withdrew his nation from the area many years ago.
We could rave on about the fabrications, injustices, falsities, and blatant errors being bandied about by hundreds of talking heads on the airwaves with their often unrealistic opinions on the developing situation – much of which is not based on accurate research or rational thinking. As we go to transmission this week an army of three hundred and ninety thousand personnel have amassed on the northern border of the Gaza strip and some initial probes into the territory have begun. Millions of leaflets have been dropped urging the populace to evacuate and travel south ahead of a coming ground invasion of incredible force. Astoundingly, their Arab brethren in Egypt have refused them entry into their country where safety would await. Subsequently, a million or so are now trapped in what is about to become their grave. As this apocalypse deepens the major world’s capital cities are erupting in a day of Jihad as Friday the 13 of October dawns. The anti-Semitism ingrained in humanity is about to explode and engulf a deceived global populace exposing the hatred of the Jews which lies just under the surface of the thin veneer known as “civilisation”.So, how are Christian believers going to behave now that everything the Bible reveals for the coming Time of Jacobs Trouble is firmly in place and occurring at a pace never before seen? We know that many of the mainline Protestant churches have for decades supported the so-called rights of a mythical “Palestinian” people who were apparently brutally replaced by an illegitimate nation revived after two thousand years of exile. Yes, OK, not true. Nevertheless how are Bible believing Christians, the diminishing born again variety, going to react to the coming derision should they dare to speak of their support of Israel and offer up scripture to defend their position? They are about to experience vilification and violence on a massive scale as Gaza is turned to rubble, and if Syria, and Lebanon become involved, an unimaginable loss of life. Not to mention the likely entrance into the fray of Russia, Iran, and China. Will they continue to stand for Biblical truth – so explicitly revealed by Israel’s prophets? Will they be brave enough to declare their understanding of Satan’s last minute attempt to rid the world of Jewry, and forestall the return of Christ to Jerusalem? To speak boldly of the current global genocide by medical tyranny, the eradication of most human rights and freedoms. and the plans to enslave us all?
Are they courageous enough to do this as little Israel, the very birthplace of the Christ they have proclaimed for so long, brings death and horror to the Middle East as they attempt a survival that in the end only their God can accomplish? The final test of our faith and bravery has likely begun? So easy is it to preach to others, and be bold in easy times, to sit in our cosy armchairs and watch prophetic events evolve hoping any moment to be whisked into heaven to escape what is coming upon the earth. What if we yet have time to prove and test our trust in our Lord? To stand with Him and His plans for this world as we are hunted down and persecuted because of our love for for Him and His precious Jewish brothers and sisters?Time has passed now for debate over semantics, ecclesiastical quibbling, denominational pride, injustice, who is right and who is wrong, textual minutiae, and the possible interpretation of precatory psalms. Depressingly, if comments on Christian websites and chat rooms are anything to go by, many supposed believers appear to be as terrified and unsure of the future as the unbelieving world? These days are probably a last opportunity to really display our Faith? It won’t be easy, safe, or comfortable. As our cities and streets erupt in ethnic/reigio violence, and laws against speaking Biblical truth are increasingly enforced, the genuine articles are about to surface – do your utmost to be amongst them? We live now in a “Chalepos” moment. Don’t waste it?
IDF Confirms It Has Conducted Raids Inside Gaza To Locate Hostages………..
The Israel Defence Forces said infantry forces and tanks entered the Gaza Strip on Friday in “localized raids” in order to clear the area of potential terrorists and locate missing Israelis in a likely precursor to a full-scale incursion in response to the weekend Hamas onslaught that killed more than 1,300 Israelis.
IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said armoured and infantry forces carried out searches and “thwarted anti-tank guided missile squads that intended to infiltrate into Israeli territory.”
“The forces located findings that may help in the effort to locate the missing,” Hagari said. “We will continue to make every effort to find every detail about the missing and hostages,” he added.
An estimated 150-200 people were taken hostage by Hamas during its murderous attack last Saturday. The IDF has so far notified the families of 120 hostages that their loved ones are being held in the Gaza Strip.
Over the past day, the IDF conducted raids in the territory of the Gaza Strip in an effort to eliminate the threat of terrorists and weapons in the area and locate hostages, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said on Friday evening.
According to the statement, IDF soldiers searched and collected evidence that would assist in the effort to locate hostages. This marks the first time that the IDF has publicly confirmed that its troops searched for hostages inside the Gaza Strip.
In addition, IDF soldiers thwarted terrorist cells and infrastructure located in the area, including a Hamas cell that fired anti-tank missiles toward Israeli territory.
The IAF continued, meanwhile, its strikes on Hamas terror targets in the Gaza Strip, as well as strikes on anti-tank missile launchers immediately after they attacked Israel.
IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said on Friday evening that the IDF has so far notified 120 families that their loved ones have been abducted to the Gaza Strip.
He added, “Our forces have found findings within the Strip that may help locate them.”
Hamas Calls for Global Day of Jihad on Friday, the 13th…………
The New York police will be out in full force Friday in anticipation of possible mayhem stemming from the global “day of Jihad” called for by Hamas’ ex-chief — which has left religious centres on edge and some Jewish parents scared to bring their kids to school.
During a meeting with Jewish community leaders Thursday, Rebecca Weiner, deputy commissioner of the NYPD Intelligence and Counterterrorism Bureau, stressed that police were bolstering their presence out of “an abundance of caution” “This is to deter anyone who would seek to do us harm in this city,” Weiner said, “
Police advised religious centres to limit access to buildings, ensure doors are locked at all times, double-check that their security cameras and alarms are working properly, conduct perimeter sweeps, and screen any mail and packages.
All officers have been ordered to report for duty in uniform ahead of the expected protests, according to a memo circulated to all members of the NYPD Wednesday night, which noted nobody would be granted excuses or shift changes and the order would remain in effect “until further notice.”
It was issued shortly after Khaled Meshaal, the leader of Hamas from 2004 to 2017, called on the Islamic world to stage protests supporting the Arab Palestinians on Friday following the terror group’s bloody sneak attack launched against Israel over the weekend.
Police in Sydney and Melbourne Australia are also on special alert after clashes on the streets of their cities in recent days between HAMAS and Jewish supporters which turned out very unpleasantly.
In first, Saudi Arabia’s bin Salman speaks to Iran’s Raisi about Israel-Hamas War…………..
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Saudi Arabia’s de facto ruler and Iran’s president spoke by phone about the war between Israel and Hamas which erupted after the terror group’s massive weekend assault on the Jewish state, Saudi state media said early Thursday.
Mohammed bin Salman received a call on Wednesday from the Iranian leader, Ebrahim Raisi, during which they discussed “the current military situation in Gaza and its environs,” the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said. It was their first call since a surprise rapprochement in March.
Hamas and Hezbollah leaders have praised the Islamic Republic for its assistance in the attack, openly acknowledging that Iranian security officials helped plan Hamas’s devastating assault and gave it the go-ahead at an October 2 Beirut meeting.
Saudis Put Israel Normalization on Hold in Blow to US Goals…………
Saudi Arabia has paused diplomacy to normalize ties with Israel amid the violence between Hamas militants and Israeli forces, people familiar with the matter said, in a major blow to President Joe Biden’s ambitions for the Middle East.
Saudi officials communicated Riyadh’s position to the US in recent days.
They described the move as a pause and not as an end to the diplomacy. A U.S. official, who also asked not to be identified, said the administration continues to be in touch with the Saudis and hasn’t been told that the initiative was being paused.
Suspending the talks runs counter to the Biden administration’s push to proceed with normalization talks even in the wake of the latest violence.
Reuters reported earlier that Saudi Arabia was suspending plans to normalize ties with Israel and is engaging with Iran to prevent a broader surge in violence across the region.
National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said he had nothing to confirm but said further diplomacy was up to Saudi Arabia and Israel.
“We understand normalization is about sovereign decisions that these nations have to make for themselves,” Kirby said. “That’s not for the United States to dictate to them.”
The Saudi decision underscores just how quickly the Hamas attack and Israel’s response has upended the politics of the Middle East and threatened efforts to deepen Israel’s ties with other nations and blunt Iran’s influence.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken is on a trip to the region and plans a stop in Saudi Arabia, where he’ll meet with leaders in an effort to keep the diplomacy on track.
Israel calls to evacuate 1 Million Gazans ahead of likely Ground Operation…………
Israel called on Friday for more than 1 million Gazans to evacuate the northern Gaza Strip, ahead of an anticipated ground offensive to destroy Hamas’s terror capabilities.
IDF Spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari [pictured above] told reporters that the evacuation order was meant to limit Arab Palestinian civilian casualties, as the war against Hamas entered its seventh day.
“We are fighting a terror group, not the Gazan population. We don’t want to harm civilians, but we cannot live with Hamas-ISIS rule near our border,” said Hagari Friday morning.
Iran Warns Israel of ‘Axis’ Response as Fears Grow of Regional War……………
Iran, Hamas’ major supporter, has warned that Israel “could receive a response” from Tehran’s allies amid growing fears the conflict between Israel and Hamas could spiral into a regional Middle East war.
Israel responded to last Saturday’s cross-border attack by Hamas by dropping over 6,000 bombs on what it described as Hamas targets in Gaza. Authorities there say more than 1.500 Palestinians have already been killed in the retaliatory strikes, including over 500 children.
Israel’s military Friday told all civilians in northern Gaza — more than 1 million people — to relocate south within 24 hours, as it amassed tanks and troops on the border ahead of an expected ground invasion.
Egyptian authorities are not willing to have them enter their country – even though they are Arabs in need of Arab protection?
Arriving in Beirut on Thursday for talks with his Lebanese counterpart, Iranian Foreign Affairs Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian [pictured above] warned that Tehran’s allies in the region could take action against Israel.
Forgetting to mention the HAMAS murderous attack on southern Israel he sad;
“The continuation of war crimes against Palestine and Gaza will receive a response from the rest of the axis. And naturally, the Zionist entity and its supporters will be responsible for the consequences of that.”
He added that the displacement of Arab Palestinians and cutting water and electricity to the Gaza Strip are considered war crimes. Israel has said it will continue a complete siege of Gaza until all the hostages kidnapped by Hamas are freed.
Amirabdollahian did not specify which groups belonged to the axis. Tehran’s other allies and proxies in the region are Syria, Arab Palestinian militant groups such as Islamic Jihad, the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, and Houthi rebels in Yemen.
“If Israel is going to mount a ground invasion of Gaza, I think there is real concern that these other groups that have gotten Iranian support and that share Iran’s goals and share Iran’s animosity toward Israel, that they might get involved as well,” said a Middle East analyst at the Stimson Centre in Washington.
US Must be Ready for Simultaneous Wars with China, Russia, report says………..
The United States must prepare for possible simultaneous wars with Russia and China by expanding its conventional forces, strengthening alliances and enhancing its nuclear weapons modernization program, a congressionally appointed bipartisan panel said on Thursday.
US, Qatar reach ‘Quiet Understanding’ to stop $6 billion to Iran…….
The United States has reached a “quiet understanding” with Qatar to put a hold on the scheduled transfer of $6 billion to Iran in exchange for five Americans released from detention on September 18.
The American move comes “as the U.S. and Israel scrutinize Iran’s role in funding and training Hamas,” CBS News reported.
Blinken in Tel Aviv: as long as US exists, Israel won’t have to Defend Itself Alone……
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken pledged in Tel Aviv on Thursday that Israel will never have to defend itself alone for as long as America exists.
Having flown to Israel in the wake of Hamas’s devastating assault Saturday on southern Israel, — Blinken expressed horror at the killings, invoked the Holocaust and his own family’s experiences in the Nazi era, and said he was working energetically to ensure the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict did not spread.
Netanyahu, hosting the secretary at a press conference televised live in Israel and the US, told Blinken his visit “is another tangible example of America’s unequivocal support for Israel“.
Israel Strikes Syrian Airports, Hamas Calls For Armed West Bank Confrontations…….
Israel struck airports in Damascus and Aleppo as Hamas called for people with stones and knives to confront Israelis in Judea and Samaria.
On the sixth day of its war with Hamas and against the backdrop of concerns that the conflict might widen, Israel carried out attacks on two airports in Syria Thursday. That forced Iranian aircraft to land elsewhere, according to Haaretz.
Meanwhile, Hamas has called for armed confrontations against Israelis outside of Gaza tomorrow.[Friday]
Israeli airstrikes on Thursday hit the airports of the Syrian capital Damascus and the northern city of Aleppo, damaging their runways and putting them out of service, according to The Associated Press.
“State news agency SANA quoted an unnamed military official as saying that no one was hurt in the attacks,” AP reported. “The Israeli military declined to comment.”
While Israel routinely carries out strikes inside Syria, often aimed at interrupting Iranian arms shipments, these were the first since the Hamas invasion on Saturday.
The airport attacks forced at least two Iranian aircraft to land elsewhere, Haaretz reported.
One entered Syrian airspace and turned back to Tehran, the publication reported.
It belongs to “Mahan Air,” an airline accused by the U.S. of providing illicit lethal aid to Syria.
It is “designated under counterterrorism authorities for support to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Qods Force, as well as under a counter-proliferation authority that targets weapons of mass destruction proliferators and their supporters,” according to the U.S. Treasury Department.
Turkey’s Erdoğan deems U.S. Military Presence in Syria as ‘National Security Threat’……..
President Erdoğan said that the American military activities in Syria are “an extraordinary threat to Turkey’s national security,” following the escalation of tension with the U.S. after the drone shoot-down incident.
Erdoğan’s remarks came after U.S. president Biden had deemed Turkey as “a national security threat” due to its military activities in Syria.
Erdoğan on October 13 said that United States military activities in northern Syria pose a national security threat to Turkey, in his speech at the closing ceremony of the 4th Turkey-Africa Business and Economic Forum in Istanbul.
Biden on October 12 stated that Turkey’s activities in the region “pose an unusual and extraordinary threat” to US national security in his decision to extend “the national emergency with respect to the situation in and in relation to Syria.”.
Gaza War prompts Hezbollah ‘Mobilization for Third Front’ from Syria…..
Lebanese Hezbollah fighters and Iranian-backed militias have begun to mobilise fighters including to south-western Syria towards the Israeli border, in the event Israel’s war on Gaza escalates to new fronts in Lebanon and Syria.
The potential involvement of groups from Syrian territory risks pulling another party into the raging conflict between Israel, Hamas and Hezbollah, forcing Israel to fight on two or three separate fronts.
According to Omar Abu Layla, the executive director of Deir e-Zour 24, Hezbollah and Iranian-backed militias have circulated requests to hire fighters from the eastern province of Deir e-Zour to be deployed in the western province of Quneitra.
Quneitra is a sparsely populated area in the Golan Heights where Hezbollah and Iranian-backed forces have gradually built up military infrastructure over the last few years.
Three other independent sources also confirmed that Hezbollah fighters had begun sending reinforcements to Quneitra since Monday.
“A lot of Hezbollah forces are present in Quneitra, as well as the western countryside of Daraa by the Israeli border fence. If they enter the [Israeli] Golan, the geography and infrastructure there is helpful to them”.
Britain will send Ships, Aircraft and Marines to the Eastern Mediterranean in a show of Military Support for Israel……..
Royal Navy patrol ships, spy planes and troops will travel to the region tomorrow to “track threats to regional stability”, No 10 said.
British PM Rishi Sunak has approved the military package tonight, while the government will also begin ramping up evacuation flights for Brits who are over there. There are believed to be around 60,000 British nationals in Israel and Gaza right now.
The prime minister said the government “must be unequivocal” in its support to ensure the “horrific scenes” unfolding in Israel “will not be repeated”. “Alongside our allies, the deployment of our world-class military will support efforts to ensure regional stability and prevent further escalation,” he added.
The military package includes P8 aircraft, surveillance assets, two Royal Navy ships – Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) vessels Lyme Bay and Argus – three Merlin helicopters and a company of Royal Marines.
The British armed forces will be on stand-by to “deliver practical support to Israel and partners in the region, and offer deterrence and assurance,” No 10 said.
Most People have no Idea what is About to Happen in the Middle East………..
The mainstream media is treating this crisis as simply a temporary conflict between Israel and Hamas that will eventually pass. But that isn’t what this is.
This is the final conflict between Israel and Hamas, and it is going to spark a much wider war. Sadly, after the atrocities that Hamas has just committed, the Israelis have no choice.
If U.S. women were raped and U.S. babies were ruthlessly slaughtered most Americans would feel the exact same way. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is telling us that “every member of Hamas is a dead man”, and the only way to accomplish that is to go into Gaza and kill them…
Announcing the formation of a unity government in a late night TV appearance, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to keep fighting Hamas. “Every member of Hamas is a dead man,” he said.
Right now, the people of Israel are filled with fury. Israel will send troops into Gaza because they have no other option. And when that happens, the Great Middle East War will have begun.
We are going to see unimaginable death and destruction in the days ahead, and our world will never be the same again.
