News Stories that Connect with Biblical Prophecy

My Fellow Watchmen,
This weekend in Davos, President Trump formally released his Board of Peace framework, adding new coalition members. Simultaneously, Jared Kushner discussed a large-scale real estate and international development plan for Gaza—territory long understood in Scripture as part of God’s covenant land.
On the heels of these announcements, Winter Storm Fern—a major, record-setting weather event—began spreading eastward across the United States, with forecasts indicating potential impact to more than 200 million Americans.
Eye to Eye Context
Throughout Scripture, developments involving Israel often coincide with broader shaking among the nations. Joel 3:2 speaks of nations being gathered in judgment concerning God’s land and His people Israel. Zechariah 12 describes Jerusalem as a burdensome stone for all peoples. Only the God of Israel knows how present developments will unfold in the days ahead.
Psalm 2:1-6
“Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against his Anointed, saying, “Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.” He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision. Then he will speak to them in his wrath, and terrify them in his fury, saying, “As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill.”
