Dear Heritage Family,
For some time now, those who are deliberately and intentionally tearing down our Judea-Christian culture have dared Christian conservatives to rise and say, “Enough!” Their goal is to entice us to a street brawl so the current administration can declare martial law and restrict our freedoms. Beloved, we must not “take the bait!” This is a crucial point we will explore in our current sermon series.
Retaliation is the way of the world, but we are called to a higher standard as God’s people. This is why Jesus instructed us to ‘Love our enemies.’ This is not a sign of weakness but a powerful testimony to our transformation. It is the evidence that we have been born again, and the more we respond with love, the more they will see that their persecution only strengthens us.
This Sunday, we continue our sermon series, “How Should We Then Live?” a study of the Epistles of Peter. This series aims to delve deeper into Peter’s teachings and understand how we, as God’s people, should live in today’s world. The title of this sermon is “The Validation of Our Salvation—God’s call for His people to live in Hope, Holiness, and Honor.”

News Stories that Connect with Biblical Prophecy

My Fellow Watchmen,
If you can’t see how our society has been and continues to be psychologically programmed, then you have been perfectly programmed to fit into the New World Order. Even with the chaos and critically serious confusion in Washington, most Americans, including most Christians, are living in a false sense of security. As someone told me this week, “As long as I can live my life in my happy bubble, it doesn’t matter what happens in the future!”
Now, please understand my “watchmen’s heart!” Enjoy every moment of life with your family and friends. I URGE parents to spend all the time they can with their children – at home, worship, playing games, and preparing for the future. By the time children are 12 years old, 75% of the time their parents will have them will be over, and by the time they are 18, over 90% of the time they will have with them will be gone. Please don’t waste it getting them involved in things OUTSIDE THE FAMILY that will not matter ten years from now! The bond you create with your family is the most valuable asset you can have.
Preparing for a troublesome future doesn’t have to be scary, but neither does everything in life have to be fun. When we were in grade school, we practiced fire drills and nuclear bomb drills. A lot of good it would have done, but we all raced to see who could get under our desks the fastest. At home, we were all proud to have a pantry full of home-canned vegetables and a smokehouse filled with meat to help us through the winter. Yes, the work was hard, but EVERYONE did their part, and we all shared the results of our preparation.
Please don’t be lulled to sleep by the absence of visible conflict, for just beneath the surface of what appears to be “everyday sameness,” a violent political storm is brewing, which will cause much suffering in our nation. If our global enemies decide to attack us during our weakness, well, according to the watchmen I trust, the U.S. could find itself fighting a war in the Middle East, a war against Russia, and a war against China. Is your family prepared?
Parents, it is time to circle the wagons around your family and your church family, and let that include a time of family prayer in the morning and a time of family prayer at night. Let’s take what Satan intends for evil and do all we can to let God use it for our good and His glory! In these challenging times, those times of family prayer and community support can provide the comfort and strength we all need.
