GOD’S JUSTICE AND MERCY

My readers are privileged to hear another sermon in the series “Victorious Christian Living” by Pastor Wayne Edwards of the Heritage Baptist Church, Perry, Georgia, USA. The service begins at approximately 21 minutes by clicking the link above. Many thanks to Pastor Wayne and Heritage Baptist Church for sharing these with the Chugley Blog. Do not miss the Watchmen’s Report that follows this preamble, it is becoming increasingly strident in warning about the fast approaching End Time Events, a subject, that sadly, seems to be avoided by many Churches.

PASTOR WAYNE WRITES:
November 22, 2025
Dear Heritage Family and Friends,
Joshua 20-21 concludes the conquest of the land of Canaan, the division of the land between the 12 tribes, and the provision for the Levites and the cities of Refuge. Joshua 21:43-45 is a doxology of praise unto God for His faithfulness in delivering the land He promised Abraham into the hands of the Israelites – i.e., what God had promised Abraham centuries earlier had finally become reality.
Beloved, the Christian faith is founded on the promises of God. With all that is going on in the world today, we often find it hard to believe that God will keep His promises. However, I pray that these two verses will assure us, when God speaks, it is done – God will do what He says He will do – not one promise will be left undone.
The title of this Sunday’s sermon is: “Victorious Christian Living: Finding Refuge God’s Justice and Mercy.”

THE WATCHMEN’S REPORT
By Wayne J. Edwards, November 15, 2025
News Stories that Connect with Biblical Prophecy
My Fellow Watchmen,
Thanks to those who sent the notes of encouragement last week. I didn’t say I “had” the Elijah Syndrome, but that I “had to fight it every day,” and after reading Jan Markell’s article in this edition of the Watchmen’s News Letter, I can sense that she is a fellow fighter as well.
Listen, as these few articles attest, America as we have known it is over! Obviously this is within God’s sovereign will, either as His judgment upon our disobedience to His Word and His will, or this is where we are on God’s prophetic calendar and this once-great God-blessed nation is headed to the ash heaps of other failed nations and empires. Either way, now we know why our “Blessed hope (only hope) is the imminent rapture of the Church and then the glorious return of Jesus Christ as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!”
Now, as far as the “Elijah Syndrome,” as the Apostle Paul said in these selected verses from 2 Corinthians 4: “Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed. So, we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day, for this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.”
I urge you to share these few articles with those you think might be interested. Let’s spread the message and keep the conversation going. Your participation is key to our collective effort.
