It has been a week of some good news. First must be the astonishing return of the stranded astronauts, courtesy of Elon Musk and SpaceX. Secondly the appointment of General Flynn to a critical position of influence at Westpoint. Here the General will no doubt oversee the elimination of woke, DEI or transgender nonsense from the US military. High time this happened in Australia. Never forget if America founders, so does Australia.

“Flynn never lied to Pence about his phone call.  Pence is the one who lied, and that’s been proven.  Pence with FBI’s Strzok and Page and Pence’s Chief of Staff, Pitcock, whose wife worked for Strzok and Page on Hillary’s emails, were actually responsible for setting up Flynn and getting him ousted. Why?  Because they were afraid of the General and his knowledge of intelligence.

JUST IN: Trump Appoints General Flynn To Unique Role In His Administration

General Michael Flynn has seen his star rise and fall in the years since departing the first Trump administration, but his luck turned again on Tuesday when President Donald Trump announced the America First military leader would be taking a key position within his administration.

Flynn will be joining the Board of Visitors at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He, along with eight other members of the board, will be responsible for inquiring about the morale, training, and education of the men and women at America’s most prestigious military academy.

The retired three-star general served as President Trump’s national security advisor before pleading guilty in 2017 to “willfully and knowingly” making false statements about his communications with Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak. He withdrew his guilty plea in January 2020, citing government pressure to falsely claim responsibility, leading then-U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr to dismiss the charges against him.

Before leaving office, President Trump granted Flynn a “full and unconditional” pardon for any crimes he may have committed while in public office.

Since then, Flynn has remained a loyal Trump supporter, speaking at MAGA engagements and appearing at rallies to stoke enthusiasm for the Republican’s 2024 campaign. He has continued to assert that the 2020 election was stolen and spoken on numerous conservative podcasts where Trump himself garnered unprecedented levels of support among young voters.

In a post on Truth Social announcing Flynn’s appointment, President Trump said that Maureen Bannon, the daughter of his former advisor Steve Bannon, would also be joining the board, Reuters reports.

Flynn was in his first role under President Trump for just 24 days until he was fired by former Vice President Mike Pence for lying about his communications with Kislyak and Jared Kushner while discussing the need for “secure channels” to communicate about diplomatic offers between the U.S. and Russia.

His discussions occurred after the Obama administration levied new sanctions on Russia following so-called interference in the 2016 elections. According to the report by former FBI Director Robert Mueller, Flynn lied about communicating with Kislyak before Trump took office, thereby discouraging Russian President Vladimir Putin from escalating the conflict.

Flynn was later charged by the U.S. Justice Department after authorities became concerned that Russia could influence the general’s actions because state actors possessed evidence that he had lied about his discussions with Kislyak when contacted by a reporter with the Washington Post.

His position at West Point will offer Flynn an opportunity to shape curriculum as part of an overhaul of the U.S. military. President Trump has pledged to purge all arms of diversity, equity, and inclusion standards
