“There are none so blind as those who will not see.”
While that sounds like a verse from the Bible, it is just a well-used saying from the “Works of Thomas Chalkley,” published in 1713.
However, by the time the Lord Jesus finished His first 18 months of ministry, I’m sure He thought about saying it regarding the lack of depth the disciples had about the eternal purpose for His coming. In fact, Jesus opened the eyes of a blind man who cried out to Him to show them what they needed to do to understand what He had come to do, how, and why.

My Fellow Watchmen,
Perhaps the most extraordinary evidence of the imminent rapture of the Church is that 95% of those who claim to be Christians are not expecting the call. As the old gospel song said, “Signs of the times are everywhere,” but it seems most of God’s people no longer care! According to a recent survey, of the 2.42 billion people who claim to be Christians, only 6.6% believe in the rapture of the Church.
Why? Because about 30 years ago, the preaching of sound doctrine was replaced with the seeker-sensitive movement, and the call for Christians to live in the daily expectation of our Lord’s return was replaced with telling Christians how to have our best life now. Instead of the chief end of man being to glorify God and to enjoy him forever, the goal of man was to celebrate self and enjoy this life for as long as it lasts.
To those who have been and are being deceived by the devil’s lies, including the new Christianity of “wokesim,” while the Lord may delay His call for many years, our way of life is about to drastically and radically change. What began a few years ago as America’s slow slide into socialism is now one step from total communism, with government ownership and control of every facet of our lives. The structures are in place to require compliance with government regulations regarding housing, employment, food, and medical care. Absent God’s divine intervention, by 2030, the Sovereign United States of America could be morphed into the New World Order.
To those who wake up every morning expecting to hear that call from the Lord to “Come Up hither” (Rev. 4:1-3), this is not the time to let others see our fear, but the time to let them see our FAITH. Paul told Timothy, “God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” In Psalm 37, we read, “Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity, for they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Delight thyself also in the LORD, and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart, and He shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.”
