The End of Empires

Throughout human history, empires have controlled the lives of masses of people, resulting in the partial enslavement of the human race. With many of them lasting hundreds of years, one might easily assume that this was a more or less “normal” progression of human development, with the stronger people conquering the weaker ones. History bears this out somewhat with the information that has been uncovered through archaeology, or passed down from generation to generation. But what is known concerning the motivation of those who would build an empire? Was it a simple case of multiple flaws in the human character, or was it possibly something else? Although a few (very few) may have provided some benefits to their subjects, for the most part all empires have brought death and destruction to all who were under their control.

Not a single one of these empires had any intention of improving the lives of those people they subjugated, but rather they allowed only for the buttressing of the strength and power of the ones at the top of the empires’ control structure. The empires of the past seem to be little different from the empires of today, especially the one called the American Empire, which is somewhat a misnomer since the word “American” refers strictly to the United States of America. If you are asking me whether I truly believe the USA is a part of an ongoing empire, one that is still in the process of building an empire, rather than the simple maintaining of an empire, then, yes, that is what I believe.

Look at the geopolitics of the entire world of the past 150 years, especially the years leading up to the event known as World War 2. The United States was a minor world power before WW1, and its power structure grew considerably due to her entrance and victory in WW1. But US leaders had still not ventured far outside the western hemisphere, possibly due to the catastrophic Great Depression.

That all changed with the events that led up to WW2. When that war began, the United States was very hesitant to enter the European war theater where Hitler was gobbling up small countries on a regular basis. When the decision was finally made to go to war, the United States began to show its true industrial potential and cranked up its weapons production capabilities, allying with the enemies of Germany and, eventually, saving the European continent from the Nazi war machine.
On the other front, the Pacific theater, after the Empire of Japan successfully attacked the United States on December 7, 1941, causing the near destruction of the entire U.S. Pacific fleet at Pearl Harbor, Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto stated: “I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve”.

That statement proved to be prescient as several years later, shortly after the United States, the first government ever to do so, detonated two nuclear weapons, one on Hiroshima, and the other on Nagasaki, the Japanese Empire joined all the other previous empires that tried to conquer the world. Over a period of four years the United States had risen from a minor power, a more or “less laissez-faire isolationist nation” to the primary world power that could dictate policy to most of the rest of the world. I doubt that Yamamoto ever understood how accurate his description of the United States was: a sleeping giant indeed that was about to awaken and build the American empire.

After WW2, the American Empire began in earnest and the talons of the American Eagle could be seen actively, and mostly covertly (can you say CIA?), for decades, seizing control over other nations and entire regions, by installing puppet rulers. That control was, to some extent, political and financial rather than military, but the levers of power are most often pulled by politicians with the military merely carrying out the orders of the politicians. Now however, there seems to have been a lull in the “empire-building” move, possibly due to the presence of POTUS Trump in the White House. But you can be sure that as long as politicians have their fingers in the government pie, there is still the push to grow the empire politically.

The Empire Built by Nimrod

Many empires have come and gone since Nimrod, the original empire-builder, founded the Babylonian system of government by building, in defiance of Almighty God, what he had hoped would be a tower reaching to heaven where the leaders could openly defy and topple God from His throne. God stepped in and, by confusing the language of the people, dissolved that empire, scattering the people across the globe, and then, in the days of Peleg, dividing the earth into the continents we now see. This dividing of the Earth (into continents) may have coincided somewhat with the dispersion of all peoples after God confused the languages of mankind in judgment of the evil proposed by Nimrod and the builders of the Tower of Babel.

Throughout history, the empires that have arisen have been taken down, either through internal rot and corruption, conquest by other larger and more powerful forces, or by a divine act of Almighty God, and most have disappeared completely from history, with the exception of the Roman Empire. While it does not now appear to be an empire, it will rise again as the revived/revised Roman Empire and will play a significant role in the end times.

What are we now seeing that will allow for this new empire to resurface from the dustbin of history, the place where the original Roman Empire was sent when it imploded?

Let me interject a little of what I have learned about human history and humanity in general over my lifetime. Since the fall of mankind in Eden, man was forced, by the curse he caused to come on all men, to work and, by the sweat of his brow (Genesis 3:17-19) attain the food and other necessities needed to sustain human life. Over the centuries, growing one’s own food to sustain life was replaced, mostly, with a money-based system that paid men with some sort of money for the time spent working for others, rather than tilling the soil to grow food. This system is still in effect around the world, but a huge change to the system is coming, bearing down on humanity like a speeding freight train.

Much has been written in recent years about digital currency. This is a new form of money that consists, not of fiat currency or precious metal coins, but of ones and zeros in a computer server that determines how much “money” a person has, totally eliminating the need to carry “real money”, such as a nation’s official currency, or more some other form of “not real” money. Historically, the only “real money” has been silver and gold, so what is the real reason for this sudden move toward a “not real” (think non-existent, fantasy) money? Here is my take on this massive change coming:

Satan’s motive in tempting Adam and Eve was to gain control over their lives. He wanted to be God, but he is only a created being and cannot create another being as did God. In order to fully express his utter hatred for God, he usurped authority given to man by causing them to rebel against God. That rebellion allowed him to seize the dominion that had been given to them by God. This was evident in the time of Jesus when Satan tempted Jesus to worship him by offering to give Jesus all the kingdoms of the world. Jesus refused Satan’s offer, but he did NOT refute Satan’s claim to ownership of those kingdoms. He simply told Satan to take a hike (or words to that effect).

So, having failed to gain control over all humanity, Satan hatched a plan to gain control over their money, and that plan has worked rather well, as evidenced by there untold trillions of dollars that Satan seems to have at his disposal. But as long as there are still people who have real money to use as they see fit, Satan’s plan cannot come to fruition. So, Satan now has adopted a new plan: change the meaning of money from real silver and gold to a bunch of ones and zeros in a computer server. This UN-real money is/will be totally under the control of those who set up and administer this devilish system. No person will have the ability to go to their bank and withdraw their funds; rather, any decision to use those funds electronically will be at the sole discretion of the system administrators. If for some reason, a person has caused the system to become angry, their digital funds can be shut off immediately, leaving the person(s) to go without and eventually die. This system is the forerunner of the system that Antichrist (the embodiment of Satan) will use to force humans to worship him. It will be fully implemented when Antichrist arrives on the scene to establish the final evil empire of men.

This is a diabolical genius of a plan and allows (almost) for Satan to gain the control he has always wanted. However, Satan has, once again, failed to understand that God is not going to allow him what he so desires. He will send His beloved Son, our saviour and redeemer, back to Earth to confront and totally annihilate the armies fielded by the final empire. That action will lead to the capture of Antichrist and his false prophet, and they will be thrown alive into the lake of fire. Satan himself will be bound by God’s powerful angels, using unbreakable chains, and tossed into the bottomless pit, there to remain for one thousand years.

At that point, the last empire on Earth will have been utterly destroyed and an era of complete and perfect peace, administered by Jesus Christ, will commence (Isaiah 9:6). The time of the empires will have ended, and Jesus will be Lord over the entire Earth. All the heads of the former empires will face their ultimate punishment and all the remaining people on Earth will, with ONE VOICE, loudly proclaim:
HAIL TO THE LORD OF LORDS AND KING OF KINGS!

I recommend watching this short video by Catherine Austin Fitts, former U.S. Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development wherein she explains about the Great Bank Reset that will usher in this Satanic monetary system, as well as the expected timeline for its appearance.

Meanwhile, keep looking up; this development simply means that the appearance of Jesus to take the Church home is very, very close. Continue to allow God’s Holy Spirit to guide every decision, every action in your lives and do not be disheartened by anything you see or hear from this evil world.
