I have long loved this Bible verse for its negativity!! I love this verse because it is brutally truthful about my fallen human nature. I love this verse because, now that I know about my weak humanity, I can find contrasting verses that tell me of God’s love for me, and how the Cross provides a bridge for restored fellowship with our Holy Father in Heaven.
