CREATION GOES VIRAL
I am thrilled to share this e-mail from Creation Ministries. They have very recently published short “grabs” about the Creation/Evolution debate and published them on the leading social media sites. Mark Harwood’s talk with a student is at the link directly below, his short “grab” has gained 3 million hits on Tic Toc. (all the short “grabs” can be accessed via the live links that are included in CMI’s letter that follows).

![]() ![]() ![]() Dear Subscriber, I am pleased to share another update on the progress of the Social Media Video Project (SMVP). Your ongoing support has been instrumental in its progress, and we are thrilled to share some exciting early achievements. A few months ago, we (somewhat reluctantly, it must be said) joined TikTok in preparation for the launch of this project. TikTok is the largest short-form video platform on the web, and is a top choice for a significant proportion of younger ‘digital natives’, so it was important for us to have a presence there. However, since we were brand new to the platform, we weren’t expecting much action early on. And sure enough, after three weeks of releasing daily content, we had gained just 30 subscribers, and most of our TikTok videos were only getting a few hundred views each. So, we weren’t expecting what came next. About a week ago, two of our TikTok videos went viral in quick succession. In a few days, they garnered over two million views… each! In just over a week, our TikTok channel gained 17,000 new subscribers and the videos on the channel received a combined total of over 5 million views, over a quarter of a million ‘likes’, about 40,000 ‘favourites’/saves, 25,000 comments, and 20,000 shares! Praise God! Videos that ‘went viral’ on TikTok: (NB: The links below go to our YouTube channel.) We are humbled and very thankful that this content is finding an audience amongst so many people—including many young people. Our other social media channels are also faring well. Viewership is significantly up—across all our platforms. On Facebook, the short-form videos have already accrued more than one million views in the month since we started posting them! On YouTube, one of the long-form interviews (below) quickly became the most watched video of all time on our YouTube channel! Why the Earth Can’t be Old! is now the most watched video on our YouTube channel! And the impact doesn’t stop at views alone. Thousands of people have subscribed to our various social media channels since we launched the project! This enables us to drip-feed creation-Gospel content into the lives of a growing number of people worldwide! The increase in those connecting to the message is a testament to the compelling, quality content that has been produced through your support. We have received many comments from people who have appreciated the videos.
