Biblical Prophecy – Today’s News….. Israel Report Weekly – February 2022 1939 Redux 26 February 2022 The military occupation of Czechoslovakia by Nazi Germany began with the German annexation of the Sudetenland in 1938, Less than half a year after it was signed, Nazi Germany broke the Munich Pact. Germany invaded the Czech provinces of Bohemia and Moravia on 15 March 1939. By the end of 1944 the occupation extended to all parts of Czechoslovakia. The events of the past few days have a very familiar ring about them as Vladimir Putin’s Russia sent in ‘peacekeeping’ troops to the independent areas of Eastern Ukraine, Donetsk and Luhansk As did Hitler all those years ago regarding Czechoslovakia, Putin claimed [in a rambling televised speech Monday evening] Ukraine as an historical part of Russia that was illegitimately taken from Moscow and is now run by a “puppet regime” controlled by the U.S. and the West. “Ukraine is not just a neighbouring country, they are a part of our culture,” he said. One of the members of the military coalition foreseen by the biblical prophet Ezekiel is now on the move with an enormous war machine and is this morning on the outskirts of the Ukrainian capital. Will Putin be satisfied with this conquest? Not according to scripture. Soon enough, in the “latter days” in which we surely live, his fuel-starved and heavily sanctioned economy will have him turning his eyes on the oil and mineral rich Middle East, and in particular little Israel. The ripples of Thursday’s Russian invasion of Ukraine will be felt far and wide. But, for a number of reasons, these ripples – more like battering waves – are likely to strike Israel and the Mideast with greater intensity than other parts of the world. The Mideast is not that far from Ukraine. Turkey, which is part of the Mideast, is just across the Black Sea from Ukraine, and just one country (Armenia) south of Russia. Tel Aviv is only some 3,000 kilometres from Kyiv, and Odessa is 2,000 km. from Beirut. The compatriots in this coming adventure, Turkey, Iran, Libya, Sudan amongst them, will come to take a spoil and invade Israel from the Golan Heights. Not mentioned, but now revealed as another powerful enemy of the Jewish state, China, quite suddenly a global superpower, is beginning to openly question the legitimacy of Israel’s claim to the Jewish homeland. She strongly opposes Israel’s supposed ill treatment of the Palestinian Arabs, and is pushing for the establishment of a final suicidal solution – an Arab Palestinian State within Israel’s borders. The influential former editor and current commentator for China’s state-run English daily Global Times issued a shocking comment hours into Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Hu Xijin weighed in on Thursday’s PLA fighter jet breach of Taiwan’s air defence identification zone by saying “Get used to it. There may be more PLA aircraft fly[ing] there tomorrow.” If this is the case our planet is once again on the brink of world war – a Russian cyberattack could trigger an Article 5 “collective defence” response from NATO and thus set off a broader conflagration.. Only this time we have the dubious distinction of being able to bring human life almost to extinction. As Israel’s true messiah stated plainly and not all that long ago; God has decided to make this coming terrible time short. If it were not made short, no one would continue living. But God will make that time short to help the people he has chosen. [Matthew 24;22] Kyiv under heavy air/missile assault as Russian forces close in from 4 directions.… 26 February 2022 “I’m the No. 1 Russian target and I stay in Kyiv,” said Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky on February 25, day two of the Russian invasion, as Russian forces closed in on the Ukraine capital from four directions amid heavy air and missile bombardment. Residents dived for shelter, maintaining that the bombardment was the heaviest they had seen since Nazi Germany’s assault on their town in 1941. Western military sources expect Kyiv to fall to the Russian army before the end of Friday, or possibly Saturday setting the scene for regime changeover. Unverified reports tell of a more severe resistance from Ukrainian forces than expected. Those sources estimate that Russian forces sustained around 450 deaths on Thursday, the first day of the invasion. The nuclear issue raised its head on Thursday, February 24, the first day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, when President Vladimir Putin warned that an attempt take down his army would meet with an “instant” response “unprecedented in human history.” A short time later, the Chernobyl nuclear reactor was in Russian hands, just 150km from Kyiv. During the day, Russian forces drove into Ukraine from the north, south and east. Missiles struck strategic and military infrastructure and bases. The number of casualties is unknown but is thought to number scores at least. The Defence Ministry reported that the entire Ukrainian air defence system and air bases had been “neutralised.” This meant that Russian tanks and artillery can continue to advance without fear of attack from the air. Moscow is estimated to have brought 100 warplanes of different types into the initial phase of the Ukraine operation. Some military analysts believe Putin’s army is strong enough to complete the Ukraine operation against strategic targets and effect regime change in no more than 48-72 hours, but Western intelligence agencies are asking whether he does not envision driving further west after Ukraine and attempting to redraw the map of Eastern Europe. Russia Sets Its Sights On Israel,…… 26 February 2022 Tells Israel That We No Longer Recognize Jewish Sovereignty Over The Golan Heights In Northern Syria……. “Russia doesn’t recognize Israel’s sovereignty over Golan Heights that are part of Syria,” it’s deputy ambassador Dmitry Polyanskiy told the United Nations Security Council in New York, which held a debate on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict on Wednesday. The monthly UNSC meeting took place as the UN General Assembly debated the Russian-Ukrainian crisis. Israel seized the Golan Heights from Syria in 1967 and annexed the territory in 1981, A resolution by the UN Security Council, of which Russia is a permanent member, states: “The Israeli decision to impose its laws, jurisdiction and administration in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights is null and void and without international legal effect”. Moscow took issue with Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights and Jerusalem, just prior to its attack on Ukraine. Just remember, everything that surrounds Bible prophecy has to do with the Jews and the nation of Israel, this is why Russia is threatening Israel while at the same time invading Ukraine. Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett announced plans late last year to double the number of settlements in the territory. By the end of this weekend, we shall have a much clearer picture of Putin’s conquest. Is it to get to Ukraine and take Kyiv, or is it to get Kyiv as a base from which to launch further strikes into Europe? But know this, if Putin is really doing what it looks like he’s doing, then it will be Israel that will be his final destination, not Ukraine. He has a dreadful destiny awaiting him there.
