It is Tuesday again and I thank Pastor Wayne Edwards for another totally relevant sermon, putting the times in which you are living into clear Biblical perspective. The link to the sermon is above, it begins at 16 minutes. Pastor Edward’s News Clips are included at the end of the introduction below. As usual they reflect Pastor Wayne’s previous profession as a media identity.
Gibber! Gibber!

Pastor Wayne writes:
In the “beatitudes,” Jesus said the first two requisites to being born again are:
· To be “poor in spirit,” i.e., emptied of all religious pride.
· To “mourn over our sins,”, brokenhearted over the way we dishonored God;
We will explain this further in our next sermon in this series – “Behold the King: Life in the Kingdom of God # 4
We encourage you to view the sermon on our INTERACTIVE WEBSITE: www.theheritagechurch.org. If you click on the sermon title on the second page, you will find the sermon study guide in another format, and you can follow it on screen as you listen.

Pastor Edward’s writes:
I received a note from one of our watchmen this week regarding a disturbing comment made by one of the many preachers who now want to be known as prophets. The true calling of a prophet is not to “foretell” the future, but to “forthtell” that which God’s word says will happen in the future, and He has been very plain about it. However, here’s the rub! As those who have the platform to view current events through the lens of the Holy Scriptures, we best not say “This is That” until it happens. Yes, the war in Ukraine has prophetic implications, but I suggest we leave it there for now until we see what happens.
As Bill Wilson said in his article this week, “Millions of Ukrainians have been displaced, thousands of civilians killed. Christ prophesied in Matthew 24:6 (NKJV), “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled.” The Christian duty is to preach the gospel and ease the suffering in the name of Christ—not advocate for creating more suffering. We are to stand for justice. None of this Russian situation is good. Plead the cause of the poor and needy, and seek God’s peace in this perilous time. Above all, have some discernment.”Please forward these articles to those you believe might be interested! Pastor Wayne —
