BABOON BACKS TRUMP
My dear friend Barry Baboon sent this enlightening communication the other day. I felt that I should share it with you.
(Do you wonder why I have such trouble working out whether I want to be re-classified as fully human?)
‘I have heard people say they disapprove of Trump because he is not smooth enough – slick enough- and he does not say the nice things we want to hear.
Trump expects results. He understands that the USA has ten states with more people on welfare than are employed. Being on welfare pays $30 an hour, being employed pays $24 an hour. The last nineteen Presidents of the USA all employed people in the top administration positions who had spent more than 40% of their working experience in practical business. Interestingly, and relevantly, 90% of the Trump administration have significant experience in practical business.
In comparison, Obama’s administration contained only 8% of people who had business experience. His administration was more interested in who used which loo than in producing first-rate goods and services on which modern living standards are based. Who do you want running your country? Do you want just social engineering theoreticians? Can people govern if they don’t understand business?
The book that outsells them all describes this situation when it states that they just wanted to “Suit their own desires. They gathered around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears wanted to hear” (2 Timothy 4:3).
To bring this home to Australia, I refer to Tony Abbott who was the subject of a Hate Campaign while he was Prime Minister. I heard people saying ‘no one likes him’. This is bizarre when his constituents in the seat of Warringah—those better placed to know the real man—have overwhelmingly voted for him time and time again. At the last election, there were five candidates but Abbott received an amazing 67% of the vote! He also was a man who had—and still has—a great vision for Australia and spoke his mind. He wasn’t culturally sophisticated enough for some, although he is a Rhodes Scholar. His policies brought him into direct conflict with the Australian press which is overwhelmingly Left-Wing. Sadly, Left-Wing elements in his own party—those now shambling along in disarray—did not support him and used the situation to back-stab and remove him from the Prime Ministership.’
Thank you, Barry!
Bring Abbott back I say!
Gibber! Gibber!

But you’re not anything like a Rhode’s Scholar either Chugley, so maybe you should run for PM?
Now that makes sense! And only cost the nation some bananas
Thanks for your confidence, but Canberra is too cold for me! I’m evolving less hair, not more. Gibber! Gibber!
I once heard a very wise man say “If I am telling the truth why should I be concerned how I say it?” Who cares if Trump, Abbot or Chugley are smoothly eloquent, I hear the wisdom! As for that great wisdom of the ages, Jesus, I think we might do well to listen carefully.
Wise words indeed Peter…. Gibber! Gibber!
