Dear Heritage Family and Friends,

The greatest heroes of our day are those few godly men who have dedicated themselves to serving as godly husbands and godly fathers – they have assumed their God-given responsibility to be the spiritual leaders of their marriage and their families. This was God’s design 6,000 years ago, and while our society is paying the price for disregarding it, His Word remains unchanged.

It is one thing for fathers to be removed from their families by war or death. However, in America today, men are CHOOSING to disconnect from their families because of their desire to be “free” of all responsibility – selfishness!

This choice has led to a staggering statistic. In the United States, 18.4 million children live without a father in their home – that’s’ 1 in 4 children. The absence of a godly role model leaves teenage boys to develop into manhood by making some wrong decisions, and teenage girls looking for love and acceptance in all the wrong relationships, and the consequences are indeed devastating.

Fathers are the visible link children have to the Heavenly Father – i.e., a child’s first concept of God is their earthly father. What an awesome responsibility. The great preacher, C.H. Spurgeon said:  “A good character is the best tombstone. Those who loved you and were helped by you will remember you. Carve your name on hearts and not on marble.”

THE WATCHMEN’S REPORT

June 14, 2025

My Fellow Watchmen,

To quote my friend Bill Wilson:

“What we’re witnessing is ideological grooming. A generation is being taught that violence is justified if it’s against the “right” targets—Jews, Christians, conservatives, police, or anyone labeled “oppressors.” The left decries hate while actively nurturing it in their base. That’s not just dangerous—it’s immoral.

It’s time for Americans—left, right, and center—to reject this madness. If we’re serious about stopping hate, it has to start with truth. Truth about who’s encouraging violence, who’s getting a pass, and who’s being vilified for standing against it.

Isaiah 5:20 says, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness.” We are called to be peacemakers, not enablers. Stand for truth. Speak against hate. And don’t let politics blind you to evil hiding in plain sight.”
