PASTOR WAYNE WRITES:
August 30, 2025
Dear Heritage Family and Friends,
Having just crossed the Jordan River on dry land and now camped within a few miles of Jericho, the Israelites were ready to start their military campaign to rout out the Canaanites and reclaim the land God had promised Abraham 500 years earlier.
However, God said, “Wait, not so fast! Worship comes before warfare, and their consecration to Him was more important than their conquest of the land. He called them to take the time to review and renew their holiness.
The title of this sermon is: “Victorious Christian Living: A Call to Holiness.”

THE WATCHMEN’S REPORT
September 2, 2025
My Fellow Watchmen,
In Daniel 9:27, the young prophet wrote, “Then he (the Antichrist) shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week he (the Antichrist) shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.” Most Christian theologians interpret Daniel 9:27 as a prophecy concerning a future seven-year peace agreement involving Israel. The reference to “one week” is interpreted to mean the “70th week of Daniel’s prophecy,” which we now know to be the seven years of Tribulation, which follows the Rapture of the Church.
According to this interpretation, the Antichrist will broker a seemingly beneficial peace treaty between Israel and other nations, facilitating the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. However, midway through the seven-year period, the Antichrist will violate the agreement, cease the temple sacrifices, declare himself “GOD,” and demand worship as “GOD.” This event is seen as the commencement of the ‘Great Tribulation’, a time of unparalleled suffering as described in Matthew 24 and the Book of Revelation.
Make no mistake–what we are witnessing in the Middle East is not just political theater; it may very well be the prelude to the fulfillment of a major biblical prophecy. The flurry of diplomatic activity, the talks of normalization with Saudi Arabia and even Syria, and the insistence by Israeli leaders that peace will only come through strength–all these are strikingly consistent with the kind of dramatic, sweeping peace accord the Bible warns us will one day be brokered and confirmed by a deceiver. The ground is being tilled for a covenant that could look like the solution the world has been begging for, yet underneath it may lie the ticking clock of Daniel’s final seven years. This isn’t just geopolitics–it’s potentially the final trigger for a countdown to the return of Christ.
As believers, we’re not called to passively watch these events unfold. We’re called to discern, to pray, and to be ready. The Bible has already laid out the road ahead, and every headline is a signpost drawing us closer to the end of this age. If a sweeping peace treaty emerges, embraced as a global breakthrough, it may not be the dawn of lasting peace, but the calm before the storm. Let’s not be caught off guard. Let’s be discerning, let’s be prayerful, and let’s be ready.
In that regard, we can only wonder what President Trump, Jared Kushner, Tony Blair, Steve Witkoff, and Ron Dermer were doing at the White House on August 27? While the posted purpose of the meeting was to discuss the post-war governance of Gaza, it would not surprise me at all to learn that the formation of the Peace Treaty was also on the agenda, which makes this year’s Feast of Trumpets very significant!
Stay alert, brothers and sisters! Keep your eyes open and your hearts prepared. The signs are all around us, and the time may be closer than we think. Stay Rapture Ready!
