WOE TO THE NATIONS!
19 March 2022 In chapter 34 of the biblical book from the prophet Isaiah a grave warning is given for the nations of the world in our time. The God of Israel is speaking through the prophet, calling them all to listen and absorb what is about to happen. He says that His indignation is upon all the nations and in His fury He is about to destroy them along with their military might. He has determined to deliver them to a great slaughter. He is speaking of the “Day of the Lord’s “Vengeance” when the assembled armies of all the world’s rebellious nations will be destroyed in Israel’s Valley of Jezreel at the end of a time known as “Jacob’s Trouble”. Their many slain will be cast to the ground and a stench will rise from their corpses – the surrounding terrain will be drenched with their blood. In a last great invasion of the Middle East the nations will gather together a powerful war machine in an attempt to thwart the return of Israel’s Messiah – but it will not succeed. At that time Christ will bring world history as we have known it to a close – and chapter 35 spells out the staggering events to follow that will restore this planet and finally bring in an everlasting peace. Yet, there is much human agony and horror to be experienced before that time. Are we now seeing the beginnings of such a conflagration? Along with so many prophetic fulfilments that surround us now it surely looks that way to any honest observer? Ukraine War is Expanding Rapidly towards a Larger Power Conflict…… 18 March 2022 “Unacceptable and unforgivable,” was the Kremlin’s response to the US president’s branding of Vladimir Putin as “a war criminal,” on Wednesday, March 16. Incensed rather than cowed by sanctions and international condemnation, the Russian president is likely to double down on his war offensive against Ukraine – regardless of the spreading death, human misery and ravaged cities. An expanding confrontation therefore cannot be ruled out for the foreseeable future. President Joe Biden spoke after the horror of Russia’s bombing of a theatre in Mariupol where more than a thousand people including many children were sheltering against the constant shelling. The death toll is unknown as are the numbers still buried under the rubble while rescuers are prevented from reaching the scene. Although the White House previously stopped short of accusing the Russians of war crimes in the Ukraine pending an investigation, Biden was now ready to say bluntly: “I think [Putin] is a war criminal.” His press secretary Jen Psaki said that Biden was “speaking from the heart” (not the head?). An investigation into war crimes was still underway, she said, aware that some form of due process is required for a charge of war crimes. The president, however, did not stop at oratory. The $800 m military aid package he approved for Ukraine reportedly included 100 kamikaze drones, apparently referring to Switchblade 300 or Switchblade 600. [See photo above]. The former can pinpoint strikes on personnel and the latter aims to destroy tanks and armoured vehicles. The Switchblades are essentially robotic smart bombs equipped with cameras, guidance systems and explosives. They can be programmed to strike targets miles away and hover over objectives until ordered to strike. The US aid package will also include 800 anti-aircraft systems, 9,000 anti-armour systems and 20 million rounds of ammunition. Moscow was seen in Washington as expanding its targets beyond the Ukraine border with the assault by 30 Russian cruise missiles on the large Ukrainian Yavrov military facility outside Lviv near the Polish border. The Russian defence ministry said that the air strike destroyed a large quantity of weapons supplied by foreign nations and that the Yavrov base had long been used to train Ukrainian military personnel, often with instructors from the United States and other NATO countries. For Putin, this Ukrainian base embodied his complaint that NATO had expanded to Eastern Europe close to Russian territory. For the Kremlin, the Ukraine base was therefore fair game. For Washington, the attack was a casus belli. Decisions on the next stage of the war are expected at the NATO summit in Brussels next Wednesday led by the hapless President Biden. The Biden administration may for now be counting on the deadly US weapons supplied to the Ukraine army to magnify Russian war losses to the point of forcing Putin’s army to pull out of Ukraine. In 1988, US arms supplied to jihadist fighters (who later evolved into Al Qaeda) inflicted unsustainable losses on the Soviet army in Afghanistan, forcing its withdrawal. This chapter of world war history is unlikely to be repeated in the Ukraine conflict, whose outcome at this point is still a matter for conjecture. The Mounting Death Toll..…. The mounting death toll in Ukraine has forced President Volodymyr Zelensky to consider concessions to Russia in order to bring an end to the devastating conflict, but the specific elements of any peace deal his government may be discussing with Moscow remain a mystery to Western leaders, said U.S. and European officials. The secretive rounds of meetings between Russian and Ukrainian negotiators could hold the key to ending the conflict but also carry broader implications for European security depending on how the warring parties settle their differences. If Russian President Vladimir Putin can use military force to compel political change in Ukraine, he could use the same tactic elsewhere, U.S. and European officials fear. The prospects of a near-term deal look bleak, diplomats say, but mixed signals from Zelensky about how close he is to striking an agreement have only heightened anxiety about the trajectory of the negotiations. Koenig’s Eye View.……… William Koenig – White House Correspondent – 18 March 2022 Situations are changing by the hour or day, which makes staying current a challenge. Subjects such as Russia-Ukraine, Iran nuclear talks, China-U.S. tensions, the great-reset, stifling of conservatives in the U.S., pandemics and more. Each subject is becoming more and more complicated and fluid. We have a battle for truth in America, where the political left and their mainstream media don’t want to know the truth, can’t mentally process the truth, and won’t acknowledge the truth or thoughts that counter their misinformation. Their misinformation is without many specifics; what specifics it does have are unprovable, as in COVID and more. They are lying to their followers and doing an enormous disservice to them, their families and our country. Their followers are mesmerised by the radical TV hosts at MSNBC and CNN, who are acting as if in an alternative universe. Their dots don’t connect. If the political left doesn’t agree with dissenters, they call it misinformation and insist there should be a cost legally, as when the CEO of Pfizer and the U.S. Surgeon General spoke of legal consequences to those spreading misinformation on the danger of vaccines. Gaffes and verbal misspeaks from the U.S.’s top three political leaders, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and Nancy Pelosi, are increasing weekly and becoming more alarming. What are the leaders of Russia, China, Iran and North Korea thinking? Joe Biden is getting worse by the week. He called Kamala Harris the first lady and committed numerous others gaffes during the week. Kamala Harris’s comments and lack of understanding in her press events in Poland and Romania in the past week were amateurish. She cackled her way through two press conferences with the leaders. She also spoke in generalities with no substance in her comments. Eighty-two-year-old (on March 26) Nancy Pelosi is struggling to speak, showing inconsistency in her words and displaying disconnected thoughts. She also became incredibly animated with her hands and facial expressions for the world to see at the State of the Union and recent press events.
